The philosophy of children originated in the 1960 s and was founded by Matthew Lipman,a professor of philosophy at Columbia University.As an international educational trend,children’s philosophy education is based on the natural connection between children’s nature and philosophical traits,focusing on the training of children’s thinking skills,providing children with an educational scene to guide children to release their philosophical nature.This educational philosophy matches the abilities and needs of preschool children.But in the preschool stage,the value of children’s philosophy has not received much attention.Therefore,exploring the value of children’s philosophy to kindergarten curriculum and exploring the practical path of integrating children’s philosophy into kindergarten curriculum is an urgent need for the development of current preschool curriculum.This study adopts literature method,text analysis method and case analysis method to interpret the value implication of children’s philosophy into kindergarten curriculum,examine the lack of value of children’s philosophy in kindergarten,and explore the value return path of children’s philosophy into kindergarten curriculum.First of all,children’s philosophy has unique value for children,for the classroom,and for teaching.Children’s philosophy can protect children’s philosophical nature,activate children’s philosophical thinking,and shape children’s perfect spiritual world.It is also under such value orientation that children’s philosophy can promote classroom optimization and teaching reform.However,in the traditional kindergarten curriculum,the value represented by children’s philosophy has always been a state of absence.Lack of openness and tolerance in the environmental atmosphere;rare themes and clues of philosophical problems in content organization;lack of support and guidance of philosophical enlightenment in teacher-student interaction;lack of guidance and focus on philosophical expression in teaching methods.In order to make up for this vacancy,children’s philosophy needs to actively explore the value return path that is integrated into the kindergarten curriculum.This path can be a philosophical enlightenment for children through a special children’s philosophy course,or it can be realized by integrating children’s philosophy into the existing teaching activities,game activities and life activities of the kindergarten.All in all,under the value orientation of children’s philosophy,kindergarten curriculum should create an open and inclusive environment;innovate the role and orientation of teachers;expand content with exploration value;reconstruct dialogue and problem-based teaching.Only in this way can children’s philosophy be integrated into the kindergarten curriculum in order to provide children with the education that is most beneficial to their development.
