Study Of Kindergarten Health Theme Activities

This thesis conducts a systematic theory analysis of the health centered thematic activity in kindergarten. In the process qualitative research approach is adopted in light of materials gathered through participant observation, interview, and collection of textual data, etc.Theoretically, it clarifies the position of the health centered thematic activity in kindergarten in the integrative education in the kindergarten, and its value for further expansion according to analysis of conceptions and characteristics concerning health education in kindergarten, thematic activity in kindergarten, and the health centered thematic activity in kindergarten.With regard to its design, implementation and evaluation, this thesis, vertically, displays and analyses the health centered thematic activity in kindergarten.Besides, this thesis also analyses, landscapewise, factors like the teacher, the children, the nursery governess, the parents, president of the kindergarten, as well as its environment, and makes clear their roles in the aforesaid activity, and impact upon it.Upon deep consideration of aforesaid analysis, features as follows can be concluded as far as the health centered thematic activity in kindergarten is concerned:I This activity is an integrative course with particular emphasis.II The health domain plays a role of "framework" in the activity.III It is closer to the life with which the children are most familiar.IV Teacher in charge of the activity should know well of every domain.V Teacher plays multiple roles in the activity.This thesis puts forward conceptions of integrated curricula on the basis of the health centered thematic activity in kindergarten, and discusses many problems involved, i.e. class makes the basic unit for curriculum development, and the curriculum pattern should be adaptable to different environments. At the end of this paper are the reflection of the researcher on the process of the study.
