Community of inquiry is an important means for the development of philosophy for children.The related concepts and the implementation of philosophy for children depend on the mature use of community of inquiry.This research takes the community of inquiry as the research object,takes the kindergarten A in City C as the research field,takes action research as the basic research orientation,uses the interview method and the participatory observation method,the researcher serves as the teacher,and carry out three rounds of philosophy for children in the senior class of kindergarten with children’s philosophy picture books,in-depth exploration and analysis of the application process of the community of inquiry,and further improved the strategies used by the community of inquiry on the basis of previous research.This research consists of four parts:The introduction includes the research background and significance,the research questions,and the definition of core concepts.Analyze the current status of the implementation of philosophy for children at home and abroad,and explore the procedures of community of inquiry and the roles and tasks of teachers in it.The first part is research design.Determine the research purpose and research object,introduce the fit point of the research field and this research,and the design of the specific research process.The second part is the three rounds of action research of the community of inquiry which applied to philosophy for children in the senior class of kindergarten.Taking "Mother Mountain","Eli’s Magic Book",and "My Neighbor Is a Bad Boy" as the course content,three rounds of action research were implemented to investigate the use of the community of inquiry and summarize and reflect.Based on the content of each round of action reflection.Design and implement the next round of action research.The third part is conclusion and strategy.The following conclusions were drawn through three rounds of action research.First of all,from the perspective of children,the community of inquiry can protect the budding of children’s philosophical thinking and enhance children’s dominant status;in the inquiry,children can realize self-construction by sharing and exchanging experiences,carefully thinking about the opinions of others.Secondly,in view of the behavior of children and teachers in the community of inquiry,the problems in the community of inquiry are analyzed: children like to express but it is difficult to listen to the opinions of others;there is a lack of active communication between children and their peers;the teacher has not created a way for children to ask questions independently opportunity and so on.Finally,on the basis of predecessors’ research on the existing procedures of the community of inquiry,the application strategies of the community of inquiry are enriched from four aspects,in order to enhance the feasibility and operability of the application of the community of inquiry. |
