| In recent years,the number of crimes committed by minors in China has been on the rise.In order to strengthen the judicial protection of minors,procuratorial organs at all levels have joined hands with relevant government departments and actively mobilized the power of social organizations to try to incorporate judicial social work into the scope of juvenile procuratorial work.As a specialized activity to help people,social work has made a lot of efforts and attempts in the field of judicial protection of minors and prevention of recidivism of minors,adhering to the professional theory and practice of the service model is of great value in helping minors involved in crimes to return to society smoothly.The study was conducted in the form of casework.Through interviews,information was collected from the clients and it was found that the clients’ biased perceptions were the key factor in the occurrence of their crime related behaviour.In response,the social workers used the cognitive behavioural therapy model as the theoretical framework for the intervention,individualised the principles of the cognitive behavioural therapy model according to the client’s own problems,identified the client’s needs from the client’s actual situation,designed problem-specific intervention plans according to the principles of the cognitive behavioural therapy model,and intervened in the client’s deviant cognitions and undesirable behaviours arising from the deviant cognitions.The interventions are designed to help clients to change their cognitive and behavioural biases and to eliminate negative emotions,so that clients’ cognition and behaviour can interact positively and precise help can be realised.The study found that minors are in their prime educational period,which is a critical stage for cognitive construction and behavioral shaping.Using the cognitive-behavioral treatment model to intervene in the investigation and correction of delinquent minors can not only correct the deviant behavior of the clients,but also rationalize their cognition and reduce the possibility of recidivism.The construction of rational cognition also enables the clients’ confidence to return to society to be re-established,stimulates the clients’ endogenous motivation to change,and has a positive effect on the clients’ future life and development. |
