Collectivism,as a moral principle of socialism,is a value standard for correctly handling the relationship between the collective and the individual,and between collective interests and individual interests,which serves to realize the harmonious coexistence and common development of the collective and the individual.Since the 18 th National Congress,the people of all ethnic groups across the country,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,have maintained their unity and struggle and entered a new stage of socialist development with Chinese characteristics.The accomplishment of the task of eradicating poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in China by the end of 2020,as planned,marks that we have successfully completed the tasks of the First Century and opened a new road to the Second Century of Struggle.All this shows us that people’s happiness in life has taken root under the joint efforts of successive generations of communists and people of all ethnic groups,and demonstrates the strong vitality of collectivism.As outstanding representatives of young people in the new era,college students shoulder the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and must attac h importance to the development of their ideological and moral quality and comprehensive abi lity.Strengthening collectivism education for college students in the new era is of great practical significance for the development of the country,society,and the personal development of college students,It’s not only the need to cultivate new talents of the times,but also the need to realize the Chinese dream,and it is an important topic of current ideological and political education research.Taking the new era as the background,this dissertation comprehensively uses the literature research method,systematic analysis method and other research methods,and conducts research on college students’ collectivism education in the context of the current situation of education.The main body of the dissertation is divided into four parts: The first part clarifies the research background and significance,introduces the research ideas and research methods.It also explores and integrates the current situation of domestic and foreign research,which is the starting point of the thesis research.The second part,starting with the concept of collectivism,gradually clarifies the connotation of collectivism and collectivism education for college students in the new era.It mainly explains the basic content of collectivist education for college students by combining the logic that collectivism intrinsically contains the interest relationship between the collective and the individual,and based on this,discusses the current value of collectivism education for college students in the new era from the aspects of the country,society,colleges and the individual development of college students.Finally,It also systematically composes the collectivist thoughts in Marxism and Engels,the Communist Party of China and the excellent Chinese traditional culture,this is the important theoretical basis for the connotation and extension of collectivism,the value and the development of collectivist education for college students in the new era.The third part explores and analyzes the current situation of collectivism education for college students in the new era,which provides a certain practical basis and direction guidance for in-depth strengthening and improvement of collectivist education practice.On the one hand,under the great attention of the party and the state to collectivist education,and the role of colleges and universities as the main front,favorable conditions have been formed for collectivist education and the development and progress of collectivist education are promoted in a scientific,systematic and modern manner.On the other hand,there are still deficiencies in collectivist educetion at the more specific and microlevels that need to be paid attention to and optimized,such as the close connection and integration of educational content with the theoretical relationship and interration of collectivism and the consciousness of a community with a shared future for mankind,common ideals and spiritual belifefs of selfless dedication,and college students’ perception of collective and individual obligations and dedication needs to be strengthened.In view of the above problems,the causes of the problems are comprehensively analyzed from the development characteristics of society,colleges and universities,and college students,and the existence of unfavorable factors such as individualism,utilitarian values,and network informatization in society has brought different degrees of negative challenges to collectivist education.In addition,the weak adaptability of collectivist education in colleges and universities and the individualized development characteristics of college students are also important reasons for the problem.The fourth part is problem-oriented and comprehensively integrates the problems and causes in collectivist education,that is,from the aspects of educational content,college student subject,evaluation system and educational environment,it puts forward countermeasures to strengthen college students’ collectivist education in the new era.First of all,strengthen the combination of collectivism and community consciousness,common ideal education,and other new theories that highlight the relationship between the collective and the individual,so as to highlight the epochal nature of their content.Secondly,in practice,give full play to the role of collectives and collective activities at different levels to strengthen the collectivist behavior of college students,and the improvement of the educational evaluation system provides a guarantee for the implementation and effectiveness of educational activities.Finally,social collectives are required to ensure the realization of individual interests in all aspects,adhere to the rational distribution of individual material interests economically,create a collectivist moral atmosphere in the whole society,strengthen the publicity of collectivist content to deepen cognition,and pay attention to the governance and supervision of the network environment,so as to continuously optimize the social environment of collectivist education for college students in the new era.Finally,social collectives are required to ensure the realization of individual interests in all aspects,adhere to the rational distribution of individual material interests economically,create a collectivist moral atmosphere in the whole society,strengthen the publicity of collectivist content to deepen cognition,and pay attention to the governance and supervision of the network environment,so as to continuously optimize the social environment of collectivist education for college students in the new era.
