With parents attaching more and more importance to their children’s education,"accompanying students" has gradually become a hot topic.Accompanying students is a peculiar social phenomenon in the history of Chinese family education.In the modern sense,the phenomenon of accompanying students really began in the early 1990 s,and then spread across the country.In order to make their children get better education,parents put all their energy on their children,and most of the mothers in the accompanying families take up the responsibility of accompanying them to study,thus the group of "accompanying mothers" emerged.In the process of accompanying students,mothers’ mentality,mood,behavior and so on will change dramatically with the growth of the time spent with them,and their anxiety gradually appears.Therefore,it is of great significance to attach importance to the group of accompanying mothers,relieve the anxiety of accompanying mothers through professional methods of social work,and help them cope with the pressure and challenges in a positive state.This study takes the accompanying mothers of S middle school who flow within or between cities as the research object.ABC theory and social support theory are used to study the group of accompanying mothers through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,so as to understand the characteristics of accompanying mothers’ anxiety,and to further explore the causes and influences of accompanying mothers’ anxiety.The study found that the anxiety of the accompanying mothers in S middle School is universal.In the whole process of the accompanying life,the anxiety of the mothers involves all aspects.The underlying reasons are the default and compromise of maternal brilliance,the balance and trade-off of family interests,the attraction and pursuit of high-quality resources,and the superposition of individual,family and school factors that lead to the anxiety of accompanying mothers.Long-term anxiety also has a great impact,not only causing physical and mental health problems of the accompanying mothers,but also worsening family network relationships and even leading to social barriers.On this basis,combined with the actual situation of the group of accompanying mothers,the use of social work professional methods to intervene in the alleviation of the anxiety of accompanying mothers.According to the individual needs of the mothers,the casework can help the mothers to change their irrational beliefs with rational emotional therapy and relieve their anxiety with social support networks.In view of the anxiety of the accompanying mothers,the intervention plan is designed by using the group work method.ABC theory and social support theory are used to help the accompanying mothers form rational cognition through group activities,explore the advantages and resources of the accompanying mothers,and establish a social support network,so as to relieve the anxiety.At the same time,in the whole process of timely summary and reflection,and from the individual,family,social three aspects of countermeasures and suggestions,jointly help the mother to relieve anxiety. |
