| The Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial)clearly proposes to change the situation of excessive concentration of curriculum management,implement curriculum management at the national,local and school levels.The Biology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)clearly requires that we should develop corresponding practical learning topics according to the characteristics of the discipline,guide students to comprehensively use relevant knowledge and methods,analyze and solve some problems in real life,and develop core literacy.Therefore,the development and implementation of school-based biology curriculum based on practice has attracted more and more educators’ attention.First of all,based on the analysis of the research background and the research status at home and abroad,this research used the literature research method to determine the research purpose and significance,elaborate the core concepts,clarify the main contents of the practice mode curriculum theory,the process mode curriculum theory and the PBL mode curriculum theory,and explore the guiding role of this research,laying the foundation for the subsequent development and implementation of school-based curriculum.Secondly,we used the methods of questionnaire and interview to analyze the internal and external environmental factors of No.S Middle School in Yantai,Shandong Province,and conducted a survey on the demand for biology school-based curriculum with the students of Grade 2019 of No.S Middle School as the objects.The results showed that students prefer the biology school-based curriculum in terms of emotional attitude,prefer to explore topics that are closely related to life and are of interest to them in terms of course content;and more attention is paid to hands-on exploration and practical activities in terms of topic type;and in terms of curriculum implementation,students prefer the combination of professional teaching and various learning forms;in terms of curriculum evaluation,students hope to adopt diversified evaluation methods.Thirdly,on the basis of discussing the principles of development and implementation,we had prepared the school-based curriculum plan of Biology and Life from four aspects of curriculum objectives,curriculum content,organizational form,and curriculum evaluation,and designed three typical course demonstrations of "base planting" "exploration practice" and "scientific investigation".In order to verify the effectiveness of the school-based curriculum plan of Biology and Life,we used the educational experiment method to set up an experimental group and a control group for students of Grade 2019 in Yan tai No.S Middle School,and carried out a five month teaching practice in the spring of 2021.After the teaching practice,we evaluated the students from the aspects of academic performance,core quality,learning atmosphere,and reflection.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in academic performance,but the scoring rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group in answering questions related to life;in terms of core quality,the experimental group had significantly improved its social responsibility;the experimental group generally had a strong learning atmosphere for biology in the aspect of learning atmosphere;and the experimental group had profound reflection and gained a lot in the aspect of reflection.Finally,this study prospected from the research object,practice time,program content,evaluation mechanism and other aspects. |
