In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Moral education",which pointed out: "Implement core literacy into subject teaching and promote the comprehensive and individual development of students." Since then, core literacy has become one of the hottest topics in current reforms, and the cultivation of subject core literacy has become the most critical part of the curriculum goals.Teachers should actively guide students to form a deep understanding of the nature and laws of the subject in the learning process.Teachers lead students to actively apply the subject knowledge and skills acquired after learning to daily life, and help students apply the ideas of biology to think and respond to problems. The general high school biology curriculum standard(2017 edition)clearly states that the basic philosophy of high school biology teaching should be based on core literacy.Based on the needs of learners to adapt to social realities and the need to improve their personal abilities, the core literacy of students in biology should be developed from multiple perspectives such as life concepts, scientific thinking, scientific inquiry and social responsibility. The school-based biology curriculum is an important supplement to the general high school biology curriculum, and its development and application should be the same as the curriculum goals to form a synergy. The development and application of school-based biology courses is not only an inevitable requirement for schools to cultivate high-level and individualized talents for the society, but also an important way for schools to help students improve their core literacy in biology. We should fully realize the advantages of school-based curriculum teaching. We should make full use of the characteristics of school-based curriculum teaching, and rationally add school-based biology courses in addition to traditional teaching. We should develop and apply school-based biology curriculum topics suitable for student development to promote the development of students’ core literacy. The first part of this thesis expounds the spirit of the country’s reform, and thus puts forward a research topic. At the same time, the purpose and significance of the research, the main content of the research, the thinking and methods of the research, etc.are explained in detail. The second part of the thesis is to explain the theoretical basis of school-based curriculum development, including the current research status at home and abroad, the definition of the core concepts of school-based curriculum, and the theoretical basis of school-based curriculum development research. The third part analyzes the related concepts of core literacy and conducts a preliminary survey of school-based curriculum development.Investigating the attitudes of some students of our school to the school-based curriculum of biology and their needs for the core literacy of biology. The fourth part is the development of the school-based curriculum of biology based on core literacy, and the school-based curriculum design is completed in combination with the results of the preliminary investigation. The fifth part of the thesis analyzes the practical process and results of typical school-based courses, and quantitatively compares the positive effects of school-based courses on the cultivation of biological core literacy. The sixth part of the thesis is the research conclusions and prospects.By finding the "balance point" between school-based curriculum teaching and traditional classroom teaching,it is hoped that it can bring some new suggestions to biology teaching.
