| Emotion,as a bonding agent in interpersonal communication,plays an important role in integrating social differences,uniting social forces and enhancing social harmony.In the past,people used to realize emotional communication through letters and face-to-face contact,but with the continuous upgrading of media,screen as a medium has become an important way for people to obtain emotions.As a combination of audio and visual short videos,it has great advantages in the process of communication to arouse the audience’s emotional resonance,facilitate the interaction between the two sides and form emotional identity.This paper analyzes the content production and interaction behaviors of Bilibili Vlogs from the perspective of empathy,using case studies,text analysis,and in-depth interviews.Taking the video content of the representative Vlog account "It’s Angelica" on Bilibili station as the case study,we explore the content production that triggers empathy in short videos,the elements that trigger the generation of emotional identity and the performance of emotional identity formation.The study found that the theme of daily life,diversified content construction,and audio-visual narrative of Vlog short videos are the basic conditions that trigger the empathy of viewers.Among them,the personality attraction of the creator,the satisfaction of the emotional needs of both the transmitter and the receiver,and the establishment of virtual relationship are the key elements that inspire the viewers to develop emotional identity,and the emotional identity is deepened and revealed through the interactive forms of pop-ups and comments during viewing and the behaviors of sharing,joining fan groups,and harvesting cognitive practices after viewing.This paper also proposes the empathy mechanism of "emotion injection(transmitter)-emotion involvement(audience)-emotion identification" in Vlog communication and the consideration of how to improve the communication effect of short videos in the future based on the analysis of cases.The producers should pay attention to the creation of personal characteristics in the communication activities,and at the same time,they should strengthen the interactive thinking to create a connection with the audience.In the selection and production of communication content,it is necessary to focus on the details of life,build the content under the real background and positive social values,and establish a strong emotional connection with the audience with real feelings,so as to form an emotional identity among the audience and make the emotions spread continuously.The dissemination platform should continue to improve the dissemination channels of high-quality content,so that short videos with positive emotional value can be conveyed to more users,forming "sympathy" in a symbiotic state,realizing emotional communication,contributing to the establishment of emotional identity between the transmitter and the recipient,and the recipient and the recipient,and improving the communication effect and influence of the communication works. |
