A Study On Group Work Intervention To Relieve Stress Of Family Caregivers Of People With Severe Disabilitie

In the background of social transformation,the family function is undergoing rapid changes.Severe disabled family caregivers as the main caregiver of severe disabled daily life,long bear heavy responsibility of care,make them in physical health,spiritual comfort,social communication and employment entrepreneurship face pressure,and severe disabled family caregivers related pressure can be effectively relief,and will directly or indirectly affect the personal physical and mental health,family harmony and social stability.Therefore,it is of great significance to use social work professional methods and skills to relieve stress on family caregivers of severely disabled people.In this paper,using the questionnaire survey,scale,measurement,semi-structured interview and participatory observation method,investigating the present situation of M street,and analyzing the biological,mental and social environment of M street.This paper adopts the intervention method of group work,based on the social support theory and energy enhancement theory,and designs the group work intervention program to help the family caregivers of severely disabled people in M street relieve the pressure of care.In the practical process,I provided mental relief,care ability improvement and social communication support for family caregivers of severely disabled persons,and relieved the care pressure of family caregivers of severely disabled persons through the intervention of group work.This paper found that group work has obvious practical effects in helping family caregivers of severely disabled people to relieve care stress.First,in terms of mental stress: family caregivers of severely disabled persons can correctly understand,relieve and manage stress to promote healthy physical and mental development;and in terms of care ability,family caregivers of severely disabled persons can skillfully operate care equipment and master more professional care knowledge to improve their care ability.Second,in terms of social support,family caregivers of severely disabled people can effectively establish a social support network between their peers to obtain emotional and social support,and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions.
