Study objective:Through two experimental interventions of French contrast group training and strength training on boxers’ upper limbs,we analyzed the changes of explosive endurance index of straight punch of hands before and after training, compared the difference of the two training means on the improvement of explosive endurance of straight punch of boxing, and verified the training effect of French contrast group training on explosive endurance of straight punch of boxing to promote the explosive endurance of straight punch attack of boxers.Research methods: This paper mainly used literature method, observation method, expert interview method, questionnaire method, experimental method, and data statistical method to study the effect of French contrast group training on boxers’ straight punch explosive power endurance with 16 male athletes from Shandong Province boxing team(experimental group n = 8,control group n = 8).The experimental group was trained with the French contrast group, and the control group was trained with general strength. The "average impulse" and "impulse drop rate" were selected as the strength endurance evaluation indexes, and the maximum punching weight of front and rear hand straight punch was selected as the explosive strength evaluation index. The results were analyzed by t-test for independent samples and t-test for paired samples. Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference(P<0.05)between the experimental group and the control group in terms of the cumulative impact weight for 30 seconds after the experiment(P=0.032),the total power of the barbell bar for 30 seconds, the total power of the air resistance of the front and back straight fist for 30 seconds, and the "maximum threshold weight" for 20 reps. There were no significant differences(P>0.05)in the "average impulse" and "impulse drop rate" of the bench press, and the maximum single-strike weight of the front and back hands(P=0.358,P=0.494,P=0.922,P=0.773,P =0.442,P=0.264,P=0.065);intra-group comparisons of pre-and postexperimental test results showed that the experimental group’s cumulative 30-second straight punch stroke weight,30-second flat bar push,30-second total power of front and back hand straight punch air resistance,"maximum threshold weight" at 20 bench presses(P<0.01),"average punch volume" and "punch volume drop rate",and the single maximum punch weight of the front and rear hand straight punches all showed highly significant improvements(P=0.003,P=0.001,P=0.000,P=0.001,P=0.001,P= 0.003,P=0.002,P=0.001,P=0.000),with increases of 7.1%,6.7%,2.9%,2.3%,7.3%,-15.4%,7.5%,and 7.0%,respectively.There were no significant changes(P > 0.05)in the cumulative 30-second straight punch stroke weight,30-second flat bar press,or 30-second front and back hand straight punch air resistance total power in the control group(P =0.174,P = 0.244,P = 0.096,P = 0.074),and the "maximum threshold weight" at 20 reps of bench press(P<0.05),"average punch volume" and "punch volume drop rate",and single maximum punch weight for front and rear hand straight punches(P=0.022,P=0.04,P=0.023,P=0.015)were significantly improved, with increases of were 1.4%,-1.1%,1.6%,and 1.5%.Conclusion:(1)Six weeks of French comparison group training, the experimental group’s explosive endurance indexes of 30-second straight punch cumulative hit weight,30-second front and back hand straight punch air resistance total power, and 30-second flat push bar test all showed significant increases, and French comparison group training can effectively promote the development of boxers’ straight punch explosive endurance.(2)Six weeks of French comparison group training and general strength training, the subjects’ strength endurance test indexes "maximum threshold weight" under 20 reps bench press "average impulse" and "impulse drop rate The subjects showed a significant increase in "average punch volume" and "rate of decline of punch volume" for 20 repetitions of bench press at "maximum threshold weight",and a significant increase in"maximum punch weight" for front and back hand straight punch, with a greater increase in the French comparison group than the general strength training group. Both French contrast group training and general strength training can promote the development of boxers’ upper limb strength endurance and straight punching explosive power, and the promotion effect of French contrast group training is better than strength training.
