Background: The modern trend of integration and diversification of physical training determines that the training of single strength and movement patterns is difficult to meet the needs of special sports performance. An effective training method or training mode is an important way to improve athletes’ sports performance. In view of this, this paper further explores efficient explosive training methods by comparing the training effects of new explosive training methods with traditional explosive training methods to improve the efficiency of pre-competition physical training. Objective: Through training interventions, the effects of French contrast group training on lower limb explosive strength and explosive endurance of youth male badminton players were investigated, and the differences between the two training effects of French contrast group training and traditional compound strength training were also compared. In addition, through training fatigue monitoring, the differences in the autonomous perception of fatigue between the two groups of athletes after training were investigated, and the adaptation period of the athletes to the two training methods was judged accordingly. Methods: This study mainly used the literature method, experimental method, and mathematical and statistical method to study the training effect gain of lower limb French contrast group training with male badminton players from Guangdong Youth Athletic Sports School as the experimental subjects(n=20).The French contrast group was set as the experimental group and the compound training as the control group, and a randomized controlled experiment was conducted for 8 weeks(2 sessions/week).The fatigue of the experimental subjects was monitored after the training sessions using the Autonomous Perceived Fatigue Scale to determine the adaptive changes of the two training methods during the training cycle. Finally, the experimental data statistical analysis software Jamovi(2.2.2)was incorporated to conduct an independent sample t-test to observe the differences between the two groups before and after the experiment and the paired sample t-test within the group to observe the differences within the two groups before and after the experiment for each index in the experimental and control groups;independent sample t-test was conducted to observe the differences between the two groups before and after the experiment for each index and to observe the differences between the training effects of the two groups using the effect size(Effect Size),the coefficient of percentage change(△%),and magnitude-based inference(MBI)were used to further quantify the magnitude of the differences.Results:(1)Explosive power index: the French comparison group showed better gains than the compound training group in CMJ(height: P=0.02;relative power:P=0.04),DJ(height: P=0.03;relative power: P=0.02;RSI: P=0.01),standing long jump(P<0.01),EUR(P=0.02),and PSAP(P=0.04),but no significant difference was observed between the two groups in SJ(P=0.41)gain.(2)Maximal strength index: no significant difference was observed between the two groups in maximal strength(P=0.27)gain.(3)Explosive endurance: The French comparison group showed a better gain in explosive endurance(P=0.03)than the compound training.(4)The mean autonomic perceived fatigue index per session was greater in subjects in the traditional compound training group than in the French comparison group(traditional compound training group vs.French comparison group,15.73±1.82 vs.14.27±2.56),and the adaptation period to their interventions was three weeks in the traditional compound training group, while subjects in the French comparison group adapted to their interventions for one month. In addition, the traditional compound training caused higher organism fatigue than the French comparison group.Conclusion:(1)Both French contrast group training and compound training are beneficial to the development of lower limb explosive strength in junior badminton players, but the gain of French contrast group training on lower limb explosive strength is greater than that of compound training.(2)French contrast group training is beneficial to the development of explosive lower limb endurance in youth badminton players.(3)Compound training brought the body greater autonomic perception of fatigue than the French contrast group.(4)Athletes adapted to the compound training stimuli earlier than the French comparison group training;the adaptation period of the compound training group to its interventions was three weeks, while the adaptation period of the French comparison group subjects to its interventions was one month.
