| With the promulgation of the latest version of compulsory education physics curriculum standards,cultivating the core competencies of middle school students is an important theme in current physics teaching research.Due to objective constraints,identifying and addressing the difficulties and obstacles in implementing physics teaching with core competencies as the goal in relatively backward rural junior high schools is an urgent issue that needs to be addressed.Therefore,the topic of this study is not only consistent with the requirements of talent cultivation,but also responds to the current practical needs of physics teaching in rural junior high schools.On the basis of existing research on core literacy,this study combines the analysis of middle school physics teaching characteristics that focus on core literacy.A survey questionnaire is designed from five aspects: learning interest,physics concepts,scientific thinking,scientific exploration,scientific attitude and responsibility,and the current situation of rural primary and secondary school physics teaching is surveyed.The questionnaire survey results were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software,and the results showed that the dimensions set in the questionnaire were consistent with the dimensions analyzed in the survey.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were good,and the overall fit was good.Through analyzing the survey results,it was found that there are problems in the current situation of rural junior high school physics teaching based on the perspective of core competencies,such as students’ low interest in learning,difficulty in forming physics concepts,low scientific thinking among students,and relatively weak scientific exploration.Based on the results of teacher interviews and combined with my own teaching experience,the reasons behind the problems are analyzed as follows: firstly,the lack of methods in the teaching and learning processes of teachers and students;Secondly,under exam oriented teaching,there is a lack of emphasis on knowledge memorization and experimentation;Thirdly,there is a lack of experimental skills and management training,as well as a lack of professional guidance;Fourthly,the supervision of student family education lags behind.Based on the above analysis and combined with the actual situation of rural schools,with the goal of core literacy,and guided by the physics teaching concept of "truth understanding action",this paper proposes improvement strategies for cultivating core literacy of rural middle school students: creating real-life scenarios to stimulate students’ interests,guiding students to construct structurally and improve their scientific thinking and physics concept level,and strengthening scientific exploration through experience.Make corresponding teaching designs and apply them in teaching to form relevant cases.The results show that it has a certain practical effect on improving the effectiveness of rural junior high school physics classroom teaching and cultivating students’ core literacy. |
