With the promulgation and implementation of the 2017 edition of the new general high school geography standard,the cultivation of geography practicality and other geography core literacy has become a key point of geography teaching in high school.Geography practical teaching is the key method to cultivate students’ geography practical power,and accurately grasping the content and designing reasonable lesson plans are the key links to orderly implement geography practical teaching and efficiently cultivate geography practical power.Based on the PBL model,this study analyzes and researches the lesson plans for the cultivation of geography practical skills of high school students,which has certain significance for exploring how to carry out the teaching of geography practical skills.First,this paper summarizes the connotation of geography practicality and PBL with the help of literature analysis method,and reflects the theoretical basis of this paper.Combined with the questionnaire method,we analyze the actual situation of geography practicability cultivation of high school students,so as to find out the shortcomings of it.Secondly,based on the front-line teaching practice and literature research,it is found that the PBL teaching mode is operable and the students’ acceptance of PBL mode is high,and the scientific strategies of PBL in cultivating the practical power of geography for high school students are proposed from four aspects.They are,first,to enhance the directionality of the context and prepare geography practice in a targeted way;second,to improve students’ problem awareness and drive geography practice activities;third,to conduct diversified teaching evaluation and promote teachers’ and students’ reflection;fourth,to improve the level of transfer application and promote the extension of literacy.Third,on the premise of understanding the existing problems and combining the strategies proposed in the previous stage,the two sections of "Population Migration" and "The Influence of Transportation Layout on Regional Development" in the high school geography textbook are used as cases.The former cultivates students’ geography practice ability by conducting geography experiments,fieldwork and other practical activities;the latter mainly relies on social surveys and geography activities to strengthen students’ geography practice power.After each practice,a short summary of it is given.After the lectures,interviews were conducted with the teachers and students who listened to the lectures,and it was found that the PBL model had a significant effect on the cultivation of practical power of high school geography.Finally,we conclude the paper by analyzing the shortcomings and looking forward.
