| Based on a questionnaire survey of three junior high school students in Kunming City and interviews with eight junior high school geography teachers,it is found that junior high school geography teaching and labor education are closely related,and both infiltrating teaching can help cultivate the core literacy of geography and labor,helping students develop in an all-round way.However,currently,junior high school geography teaching rarely involves labor education,Designing teaching strategies for infiltrating labor education in junior high school geography teaching and sorting out the content points of infiltrating labor education in junior high school geography textbooks have theoretical and practical value.Based on the analysis of China’s relevant policy documents on carrying out labor education since the National Education Conference and the "Geography Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" and "Labor Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)",the interpretation of theories such as "learning by doing",life education theory,constructivism theory,and comprehensive human development theory,as well as the application of methods such as questionnaire surveys,interviews,text research methods,and case studies,This study explores strategies for infiltrating labor education into geography teaching in junior high schools from a theoretical and practical perspective.On the theoretical level:(1)Analyzed the value implications of integrating labor education into junior high school geography teaching in relevant policy documents and curriculum standards,and found that geography is closely related to labor education,with consistent educational orientation and a high degree of compatibility between curriculum nature and curriculum philosophy;(2)Explained the concepts of "labor education","junior high school labor education",and "junior high school geography labor education";(3)Guided by the theories of "learning by doing",life education,constructivism,and comprehensive human development,this paper proposes three major principles for integrating labor education into junior high school geography teaching: the principle of appropriateness,the principle of life oriented education,and the principle of educating people;Five major strategies: forming awareness and strengthening the awareness of geographical labor education;Strengthen development and integrate geographical labor education resources;Deepen understanding and stimulate students’ labor emotions;Focus on action and increase practical experience activities;Multiple evaluations,feedback,and improvement of geographic labor education.At the practical level:(1)Sort out 40 points in the Business Planet Edition junior high school geography textbook that are suitable for infiltration of labor education and propose implementation activities;(2)According to the three principles and five strategies,taking the section "Developing Agriculture in Accordance with Local Conditions" as an example,two teaching cases of scaffolding classroom teaching and PBL extracurricular geography+labor education were designed,and successful teaching practices were conducted.The research believes that the infiltration of labor education into junior high school geography teaching is conducive to stimulating students’ interest in learning,improving the effectiveness of geography learning,cultivating students’ labor literacy,and assisting students in diversified development.This study suggests that under the premise of ensuring the main body of geography teaching in junior high schools,curriculum resources should be appropriately developed in combination with teaching content points,and labor education should be infiltrated into geography teaching in junior high schools. |
