The school is the main position for the implementation of labor education.In July 2020,the Ministry of Education issued the guiding outline for labor education in primary and secondary schools(for Trial Implementation),which puts forward clear requirements for the objectives,contents and ways of labor education,and points out the direction for labor education in the new period.In order to understand the current situation of the implementation of labor education in junior middle schools,this study selects four junior middle schools in Xinxiang City,takes teachers and students as the main research objects,and investigates the current situation of labor education through questionnaires and interviews to find out the existing problems in time.According to the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the problems are as follows: first,the understanding of labor education is not deep,which is reflected in the insufficient learning of teachers' labor education policies,the weak willingness of teachers to participate in labor education,and the deviation of students' cognition of labor education.Second,labor education is lack of systematization and narrow content form,which is reflected in the lack of a system of labor curriculum,the lack of professionalism of labor education content and the narrowing of labor practice.Third,the implementation of labor education organization is not in place,which is reflected in the imperfect relevant systems and insufficient home school cooperation.Fourth,the evaluation of labor education is not clear,which is reflected in the non-standard evaluation of daily performance,the imperfect evaluation of labor quality in the student stage,and the lack of labor quality detection.Fifth,the labor education security is insufficient,which is reflected in the lack of labor practice sites,the shortage of labor education teachers,the lack of professionalism,and the insufficient investment of labor education funds.Through the existing problems of labor education,this paper summarizes the causes: due to the influence of the examination oriented education evaluation system,the status of labor education curriculum is not high,the publicity of labor education training is not in place,the management of labor education has no rules to follow,the teachers of labor education are not professional and lack of corresponding material guarantee,which makes the implementation effect of labor education in junior middle school unsatisfactory.Aiming at the problems and causes of labor education in junior middle school,this paper puts forward the following improvement countermeasures.In terms of labor education consciousness: school managers should change the concept of labor education,teachers should improve the ideological understanding of labor education and cultivate students' labor values.In the way of labor education:strengthen the construction of labor education courses and create a campus cultural atmosphere advocating labor.In terms of labor education organization: strengthen the organization and management of school labor education and give full play to the function of home school cooperation.In terms of labor education evaluation: Diversified Evaluation Based on self-evaluation,developmental evaluation based on the combination of peacetime performance evaluation and school stage synthesis,and build an evaluation index system with labor literacy as the core.In terms of labor education security: cultivate professional labor education teachers,build a labor practice base in the school,and ensure the funds for school labor education activities.
