School bullying is a special type of malicious behavior that is widely found in primary and secondary school campuses. The bullied are the most direct victims of school bullying incidents and the most harmed characters.Exposure to school bullying will cause adverse reactions in various aspects of individuals’ psychology, behavior, academics and life, and even lead to suicidal and antisocial tendencies.Studies have found that most bullied people have relatively low social self-efficacy,and improving their social self-efficacy can help them better develop their social skills, thereby improving their ability to build or maintain social support networks, obtain resources to combat bullying in schools, buffer the negative effects of bullying, and reduce the possibility of repeated bullying. This study first obtains the current status data of social self-efficacy,bullying and social support of bullied children through questionnaire survey, analyzes the relationship between the three, and designs and carries out group programs for social self-efficacy improvement on this basis.Firstly,a stratified sampling of 349 rural upper primary school children was conducted according to grade standards, and the results showed that the low social self-efficacy of individuals was closely related to their experience of bullying in school and less social support.Secondly, the analysis results of the previous survey data are the entry point for the screening of team members. Then, through the interviews with the group members, grasp their actual needs, combined with the analysis results of the influencing factors of the social self-efficacy of bullied children in the early stage, the group activity plan design was carried out under the guidance of self-efficacy theory and social support theory.Finally,10 group activities were designed and carried out from the aspects of social cognition, communication skills,self-identification and building three major support networks for children, focusing on improving the social self-efficacy and social ability of group members to enhance their social support, and increasing their anti-bullying resources and capabilities. The study showed that:(1)Bullying in rural primary schools was more serious; The degree of bullying in children was significantly negatively correlated with social self-efficacy and social support, and the higher the level of social self-efficacy and perceived social support, the lower the possibility of school bullying.(2)Correlation analysis showed that individuals’ social self-efficacy was significantly positively correlated with the social support they received;Further regression results showed that the social support received by individuals had a very significant positive predictive effect on their social self-efficacy,and that school bullying had a significant negative predictive effect on social self-efficacy.(3)Group work intervention can effectively improve the social self-efficacy of bullied children in rural primary schools, and has a positive effect in promoting their social initiative, improving communication skills, building support networks, and reducing their possibility of repeated school bullying.
