Academic self-efficacy is used to measure students’ learning self-confidence,which affects pupils’ academic achievement and relates to their healthy growth.The first purpose of this paper is to enable primary school students to develop a good learning concept,master the correct learning methods,enhance self-confidence and peer communication,and achieve the development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor.The next purpose of this paper is to explore the feasibility of group social work in the field of academic self-efficacy.The significance of this study is to accumulate experience in social work and broaden the applicable field of academic self-efficacy.The paper is research on group social work to improve pupils’ academic self-efficacy.First of all,from the perspective of social work,this paper uses group dynamics theory,self-efficacy theory and social learning theory,adopts observation method,interview method and scale method to obtain research data,and selects primary school students in MD Children’s Service Station as research objects.After analysis,it is found that the low academic self-efficacy of pupils is characterized by low self-confidence,low concentration,poor enthusiasm,emotional anxiety and poor communication.Secondly,according to the above information and analysis,this paper carries out the practical process of "I am the brightest" growth group.Team members become confident through six group activities,gain learning methods and make new friends.After the group activities,this paper verified the effectiveness of the practical process through analysis.Finally,the research conclusion of this paper is that group social work has a remarkable effect on improving pupils’ academic self-efficacy;Successful experience,role model and emotional control play an important role in improving pupils’ self-efficacy.The way of social work in groups can provide useful reference for schools and related departments.This paper puts forward suggestions from four aspects: effective social group work,high-quality education from families,support from teachers and linking social resources.The innovation of this paper is that the research object is non-special pupils;Secondly,the application of academic self-efficacy theory enriches the research perspective of social work intervention in children’s issues;Finally,the research method of this paper is helpful to obtain reliable information and put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.The disadvantages of this paper is that the author lacks practical experience in social work and fails to link external resources such as communities and schools to get support. |
