Education under the background of the new curriculum reform advocates students as the main body, and on this basis, the core literacy of students is improved.Subjective education has also become one of the keys to quality education. This study began with a visit and observation of the ninth grade students of Shandong A Middle School, and found that the students in this class generally lacked collective consciousness and ownership spirit, and were not active and involved in class affairs and class activities.Through the review of the literature, the crux of the problem was diagnosed: the lack of student subjectivity was not respected in the class management. In order to cultivate the subjective awareness of the students in this class and improve the subjectivity of the students, this study takes the self-management of class activities as the starting point, and on the basis of drawing on Pei Dina’s research experience on subjectivity and the WSCC model of Linda L.Morse, the independent management of class activities with the selection of class activity content and themes, activity planning, activity improvement, activity implementation, and activity evaluation is constructed, and the self-management of class activities is constructed by allowing students to play the role of activists, decision makers, researchers, the roles of organizer and evaluator to promote student subjectivity.Through two rounds of action research, this study finally concluded that the self-management of class activities enhances students’ initiative by improving students’ participation in activities, and stimulates students’ creativity by cultivating independence and initiative. In short, the self-management of class activities can effectively enhance the subjectivity of students.
