At present, the physical health of young people and children is declining, and relevant documents have been issued from the central to local governments to improve the physical health of young people and children. In recent years, with the development of social economy and the continuous improvement of mass sports literacy,Parkour has become popular among young people and children in China with its value of strengthening the body and stimulating and interesting characteristics. On the basis of previous studies, this paper studies the promoting effect of parkour exercise on the physical health of 9-10 years old children through experimental intervention. On the one hand,it provides some help for the theoretical research of Parkour, and on the other hand,it provides a reference for the implementation of Parkour in young people and children. The research methods used in this paper include literature, interview, mathematical statistics, questionnaire, experiment and field research. The experimental method used parkour exercise as an intervention method, and carried out parkour training for children and adolescents for 10 weeks. From Beijing Heshi Children’s Gymnasium,60 boys aged 9-10 years were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group of 30 each. The experimental group received parkour exercise intervention, while the control group received basic physical training. Before and after the experimental intervention, the height, weight, vital capacity,50 meter run, sitting forward bending, one minute rope skipping, one minute sit up,standing long jump, standing with eyes closed and one leg standing, cross quadrant jump and other physiological and psychological health indicators of the students in the experimental group and the control group were tested respectively.Results:(1)After 10 weeks of parkour training, the body shape test results of the two groups of students in the experimental group and the control group showed significant difference in height(P<0.05),but no significant difference in body weight(P>0.05);Physical function indicators, the experimental group and the control group of students’ vital capacity have increased, the experimental group an average increase of 408 ml,the control group an average increase of 108 ml,the two groups before and after the comparison were significant differences(P<0.05);In terms of physical fitness, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the comparison of various indicators(P<0.05),indicating that parkour has a positive effect on improving the physical fitness of 9-10 year old primary school students.(2)From the results of the questionnaire survey after the experiment, after the experiment, the experimental group students believed that the difficulty of the experiment teaching was moderate, and they were still interested in parkour after the experiment, and they could clearly understand the physical changes that parkour would bring to the body. After the experiment, both the experimental group and the control group showed significant improvement in the test scores of confidence, cooperation spirit and thirst for knowledge, but the improvement range of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group.Research conclusion:(1)10 weeks of parkour training has a significant impact on improving the physical function and physical fitness of 9-10 year old children, but has no significant impact on body shape.(2)Parkour sports has a strong attraction for children aged 9-10.Students can feel the change of their own sports ability, which plays a positive role in improving the mental health of children of this age and improving their environmental adaptability.
