| The physical health and mental health of children and adolescents have a greater impact on the harmonious development of China’s future society.In recent years,the overall physical and mental qualities of children and adolescents in our country have continued to decline,and some mental health problems have also occurred.The concern of all walks of life is urgent to improve the physical and mental health of children.We must pay attention to the physical and mental exercise of children and adolescents so that they can develop good exercise habits.This research will focus on improving the physical and mental health of young children and explore the impact of basketball on the physical and mental health of young children.It will provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for children ’s basketball in the future and help children develop good exercise habits Cultivate children’s interest in sports;also serve for the better development of China’s basketball career in the future,and provide some theoretical basis for future correlation research.This paper mainly used the methods of literature,questionnaire,experiment,mathematical statistics and other research methods to carry out experimental research on children aged 8-10 in grade 4 of primary school affiliated to chengdu normal school.The experimental group was taught basketball for 12 weeks,while the control group was taught regular physical education with new curriculum standards.First,two groups of children were given physical fitness(strength,speed,endurance,agility,flexibility,balance and agility)and psychological tests(MHT).After 12 weeks,both groups were given physical fitness and psychological tests again.Finally,data processing software is used for statistical analysis.Experimental results:(1)After the experiment,the 50-meter performance of the experimental group increased from 10.19 s to 9.39 s seconds,the solid ball performance increased from 3.85 m to 4.55 m,and the standing long jump increased from 142.27 cm to 151.8cm,the number of skipping ropes in one minute From 110.33 to 141.06,the vital capacity increased by 153.01 ml,there were significant differences in these indicators(P <0.05),but the sitting body flexion,one-legged standing,cross quadrant jump did not occur in these indicators Significant difference(P> 0.05).(2)After the experiment,through the "Primary School Students Mental Health Diagnostic Questionnaire" test,the experimental group and the control group have significant differences in learning anxiety,anxiety to others,loneliness tendency,and self-blame tendency factors(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the factors of terror tendency,physical symptoms,allergic tendency and impulsive tendency(P> 0.05).Research conclusions:(1)After 12 weeks of basketball training courses,it shows that basketball can improve the strength,endurance,lower extremity explosiveness and speed of 8-10 year old and improve the vital capacity.This shows that basketball can effectively improve the physical fitness of children.(2)After 12 weeks of basketball training courses,students’ psychological anxiety,psychological quality,and interpersonal communication are effectively improved,which shows that basketball has a positive effect on the mental health of contemporary children... |
