With the development of modernization and urbanization in China,a large number of rural labor has poured into cities,and there is still a large base of left-behind children in rural areas,and the issue of left-behind children is still an important issue of concern in academic circles and society.Based on the fact that most of the academic community’s attention to rural left-behind children focuses on education,psychology and behavior,and the research on interpersonal communication of rural left-behind children needs to be deepened,this study attempts to describe the current situation of interpersonal self-efficacy of left-behind children in village L in Sichuan Province,and on the basis of collecting and analyzing data,six group activities are designed and carried out to explore effective ways to improve the interpersonal self-efficacy of left-behind children.The main body of this study is divided into three parts.In the second chapter,on the basis of describing the basic situation of village L and left-behind children,questionnaires and interviews are used to investigate and analyze the interpersonal self-efficacy of left-behind children in village L,and explore its causes.On this basis,focusing on these problems and the practical goals of social work to be achieved,the third chapter designs and carries out six group work based on the theory of self-efficacy,starting from the four levels of self-efficacy sources:adjusting emotional state,obtaining alternative experience,exploring direct experience,and the role of verbal persuasion,aiming to improve the interpersonal self-efficacy of rural left-behind children.In Chapter 4,the process and results of the group’s conduct are evaluated through interviews,participatory observation and questionnaires.This study finds that the use of self-efficacy theory has guiding significance for improving the interpersonal self-efficacy of left-behind children,and the group work method can effectively improve the interpersonal self-efficacy of left-behind children,and also has a positive effect on the construction of social support network of peer groups.Finally,the development of this study is reflected on and suggestions are put forward for future work.
