Under the background of the new round of curriculum reform,with the successive promotion and use of the unified edition of high school ideological and political textbooks and the ministry-compiled version of junior high school ethics and rule of law textbooks,the teaching connection of junior high and high school ideological and political courses has been increasingly valued by the majority of ideological and political teachers,experts and scholars.Ideological and political courses are the key courses for cultivating morality and cultivating souls,which can achieve effective connection between different academic stages and better promote the all-round development of students.General Secretary Xi Jinping once pointed out that it is necessary to make overall plans to promote the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools,and promote the connotative development of ideological and political courses.In the new curriculum standards for high school ideology and politics,it is emphasized that it is connected with the junior high school ethics and rule of law courses,and jointly undertake the task of ideological and political education to cultivate morality and cultivate people.Carrying out research on the connection between junior high school ideological and political courses and high school ideological and political courses is an inevitable choice to meet the needs of the development of the times,and it is also an inevitable choice for the inherent requirements of the new curriculum standard.Therefore,this paper takes the new curriculum standard as the starting point to conduct an in-depth discussion on the teaching connection between junior and senior high school ideological and political courses,focusing on the two teaching subjects of students and teachers,and analyzes the current learning status of students’ junior and senior high school ideological and political courses and the problems existing in the teaching process of teachers,and attempts to construct a teaching strategy that is conducive to the connection between junior and senior high school ideological and political courses from the interface between teachers’ "teaching" and students’ "learning".The full text is divided into six parts.The first part first expounds the background and significance of the topic selection of this paper,and then reviews the research status of the teaching connection between junior and senior high school ideological and political courses at home and abroad,and defines and sorts out the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations.The second part mainly emphasizes the necessity of teaching articulation between junior and senior high school ideological and political courses from three aspects:implementing the party’s education guidelines and policies,promoting the development of middle school ideological and political courses and promoting the all-round development of students,and exploring the feasibility of teaching articulation of junior and senior high school ideological and political courses by analyzing curriculum standards.The third part uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate and study the current situation of ideological and political learning and teachers’ teaching status of junior and senior high school students.The fourth part analyzes the problems and reasons in the connection between ideological and political education and education based on the results of student surveys and teacher interviews.At present,due to the influence of factors such as the examination education mechanism,improper handling of teaching materials,lack of overall ideological and political awareness,differences in students’ acceptance ability,and traditional evaluation concepts,there are unclear teaching objectives,weak consistency of teaching content,insufficient interaction of teachers in school sections,and low enthusiasm for learning in ideological and political courses and insufficient flexibility in evaluation methods.The fifth part is rooted in the existing problems in the current teaching of junior and senior high school ideological and political courses,combined with their causes,and focuses on how to achieve the effective connection of junior and senior high school ideological and political courses under the new curriculum standard.It is necessary to establish systematic thinking and promote the convergence of goals;Carefully study the textbook and promote the convergence of content;Linking up the teaching team to enhance the awareness of connection;Transform teaching methods and focus on methodological convergence;Improve teaching evaluation and realize the convergence of evaluation.The sixth part takes the teaching of "China’s fundamental political system" in junior and senior high schools as an example,through the analysis of typical teaching cases,and from the perspective of teaching implementation,it provides bridging examples for specific teaching content,showing what should be taught and how to teach the same topic in different school stages,and how to do a good job in teaching connection,so as to provide certain practical reference value for the teaching of the majority of front-line junior and senior high school ideological and political teachers.
