With the integration of the Civics and Political Science courses in schools and colleges, the community is paying more attention to the core of human cultivation and development. In order to make the cultivation of political identity literacy more closely integrated with the teaching practice in secondary schools, the community and experts and scholars have conducted extensive theoretical research and practical exploration. As the formation of students’ three perspectives in secondary school is at a special stage, influenced by the change of learning environment in junior and senior secondary schools and the diversification of culture and values in the context of the Internet today,it is of great importance for educators to effectively link political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools. This paper will focus on the problems and strategies of the interface between junior and senior high school politics teaching from the perspective of political identity. In addition to the introduction, the paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, the concepts and theories related to the articulation of political identity and literacy in junior and senior secondary schools are mainly explained, mainly based on Marxist epistemology,Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, constructivist theory, the theory of the zone of recent development and Bruner’s theory of knowledge structure. In the second part, the key role of political identity in students’ development is discussed. In the second part, starting from the importance of the consistent articulation of political identity,it is explained that a reasonable articulation of political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools is a positive response to the integration of the construction of Civics and Political Science courses in universities and schools, which is conducive to the cultivation of a new generation of qualified socialist successors, the improvement of junior and senior secondary school political science teachers’ teaching standards, and the effectiveness of cultivating political identity literacy among junior and senior secondary school students. The third part is an analysis of the current situation of the articulation of political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools.Based on textual research and empirical investigation, the following problems are found: the teaching objectives of the articulation of political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools lack hierarchy and have different focuses;the content of the teaching materials on political identity shows an upward trend in general but some of the content has a large gradient;the teaching methods lack flexibility and relevance;and the teaching evaluation lacks effective means. The main reasons for this situation are the inadequate design of the top level of the articulation of political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools, and the low communication and awareness of junior and senior secondary political science teachers. The fourth part is about the countermeasures to enhance the articulation of political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools. The main countermeasures are:strengthening the top-level design to promote the effective articulation of the teaching objectives and contents of political identity in junior and senior secondary schools;enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and promoting the reasonable articulation of teaching methods and assessment of political identity;facilitating teachers’ learning and seminars to enhance their quality;and integrating multiple teaching resources to provide favourable conditions for the articulation of political identity literacy. In the fifth part, classroom examples of the articulation of political identity literacy in junior and senior secondary schools are analysed to further deepen the understanding of the articulation of literacy through concrete teaching examples.
