In recent years, labor education has received more and more attention.A guideline on hardworking spirit education clearly points out that we should fully understand the requirements of training socialist builders and successors in the new era for strengthening labor education, and set up compulsory courses of labor education in universities, middle schools and primary schools according to the characteristics of each school segment to systematically strengthen labor education. As an educational activity to cultivate students’ correct labor values and good labor quality, labor education refers to the education to cultivate students’ sense of responsibility, creativity and labor habits, which plays an important role in promoting students’ all-round development.Early childhood is a critical period for individual development.Carrying out labor education in early childhood not only meets the needs of individual early childhood development, but also conforms to the needs of the development of the new era.As one of the core contents of labor education, the cultivation of children’s labor habits plays a key role in the cultivation of labor quality. However, the current infant labor education is in a marginal state and lacks systematic and targeted guidance. This study selected the first class of children in Yantai H Kindergarten as the research object.By using observation and interview methods, this paper investigates the current situation of the working habits of the first class children in H Kindergarten. On this basis, the survey was sorted out and analyzed, and it was found that the first class of children in H Kindergarten had the problem of not forming labor habits, which was manifested in the children’s lack of correct understanding of labor and regarded labor as a means of punishment for adults;Young children lack the labor emotion of respecting the labor results of workers and others;Young children lack active labor behavior. In view of the problem of forming the labor habits of the first class of children in H Kindergarten,an action study based on home-based co-education was carried out for the first class of labor education in H Kindergarten. In the action research, the four-link research model of "plan-action-observation-reflection" proposed by Kemis et al.was adopted to further determine the three stages of action research: "home co-education to cultivate children’s labor awareness","home co-education to cultivate children’s labor emotion" and "home co-education to consolidate and strengthen children’s labor behavior".Two rounds of action were carried out at each stage to explore the effect of home co-education model on children’s labor habits,Summarize the strategies to cultivate the labor habits of large class children, and provide reference for the implementation of labor education of large class children. The results of action research show that the internalization of labor cognition and labor emotion has laid a foundation for the cultivation of children’s labor habits, the coordination of home cooperation has provided a strong guarantee for the cultivation of children’s labor habits, and the rich and diverse labor education resources have provided long-term support for the cultivation of children’s labor habits.According to the results of action research, the following suggestions are put forward: First, strengthen learning and training to improve teachers’ professional ability of labor education;Second, strengthen learning and training to improve teachers’ professional ability of labor education;Third, close communication and cooperation between the home and ensure the consistency of labor education;Fourth, parents should set an example of labor and create a family atmosphere that loves labor.
