Patriotism has been the deepest,purest and most lasting emotion flowing in the blood of the Chinese nation since ancient times.President Xi Jinping once stressed that promoting the spirit of patriotism is required to take patriotic education as the eternal theme,especially the strengthening of patriotic education among young people should be placed in a more prominent position,and then the seed of love for China must be planted in the heart of every child.The junior high school students need to be more carefully guided and nurtured because they are facing the jointing-boosting stage which is also the critical stage for establishing a correct world view,outlooks on life and values.The course of Morality and Rule of Law,as the key course in junior high school,undertakes the responsibility of patriotism education which aims at improving students ’ ideological and political quality,moral cultivation,legal literacy and personality cultivation,and cultivating new youth with ideals,skills and ability to undertake the great task of national rejuvenation.This thesis explores the patriotism education in the course of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school with the methods of document summary and survey research,based on the 2019 edition of Implementation Outline of Patriotism Education in the New Era and the 2022 edition of Compulsory Education Morality and Rule of Law Curriculum Standards.The thesis is divided into four parts: The first part is to sort out the research background,significance,research review and innovation of patriotism education.The second part first defines the related concepts of Morality and the Rules of Law course,patriotism,patriotism education and Morality and Rule of Law course in junior high school.Secondly,it discusses the characteristics of patriotism education in the course of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school from three perspectives: content,object and form.Finally,it analyzes the content.The third part is to analyze the achievements of current patriotism education based on the results of students’ questionnaires and teacher interviews,and find out the shortcomings and causes of the problems.The fourth part,according to the summarized shortcomings,this thesis puts forward the strategy of strengthening the patriotism education from the four angles of improving the quality of teachers,enriching the teaching content,optimizing the educational means and carrying out reform of the education system,based on the combination of teaching cases and theories.This thesis is devoted to the research on the situation and strategy of patriotism education in the course of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school,so as to improve the effectiveness of patriotism education and button up middle school students. |
