Patriotism is a kind of positive emotion towards the motherland,which reveals the dependence of the individual on the motherland,it mainly includes social individual ’s sense of belonging,identity,dignity and honor to the country,the nation and even the culture.The education of patriotism is to pass on the knowledge of patriotism to the educated,so that the educated can establish a firm patriotic belief and a strong sense of national self-esteem,self-confidence and pride,thus,it is a kind of practical education activity that can contribute its own strength to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.High school students are in the critical period of forming correct outlook on life,world outlook and values.Strengthening patriotism education is beneficial to strengthening the political identity of high school students and establishing firm political beliefs and positions.The course of ideology and politics in senior high school is an important channel of patriotism education,and the course of socialism with Chinese characteristics in senior high school contains rich contents of patriotism education,it is of great significance to study patriotism deeply in the course of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This paper takes the patriotism education in the course of socialism with Chinese characteristics in senior high schools in Inner Mongolia as the research object,this paper analyzes and summarizes the present situation and causes of patriotism education in the course of socialism with Chinese characteristics in senior high schools in Inner Mongolia,and then puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.This article mainly includes three parts,as follows:the first part,mainly summarizes the basic theory of patriotism education.Clearly defined the concept of patriotism and patriotism education,summarized the basic principles of patriotism education;Combing and inducing the content of patriotism education in the text and auxiliary text of “Socialism with Chinese characteristics”;This paper analyzes and expounds the important significance of strengthening patriotism education in the teaching of socialism with Chinese characteristics in senior high school.The second part analyzes the present situation and reasons of carrying out patriotism education in the course of socialism with Chinese characteristics in senior high schools in Inner Mongolia.Through the investigation of students and teachers of ideological and political education in four high schools in the east,middle and west of Inner Mongolia,this paper sums up the following main problems in developing patriotism education in the current teaching of socialism with Chinese characteristics:the unbalanced implementation of the educational objectives of patriotism,the lack of teaching art in the teaching methods of patriotism education,the insufficient design of the practical teaching links,and the incomplete evaluation methods of patriotism education.Through analysis,the main reasons for these problems are that teachers do not pay enough attention to patriotism emotion and behavior goal,teachers are at the exploration stage of patriotism practice,and do not form a sound evaluation mechanism of patriotism education.The third part,in-depth study to strengthen the Inner Mongolia area senior high school “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” lesson patriotism education countermeasure and path.The countermeasures are put forward from four aspects: optimizing the teaching method,innovating the patriotic education method,digging deeply the patriotic theme and constructing the scientific evaluation system.
