Adolescence is an important stage to strengthen patriotism education.As the main subject of strengthening patriotism education for middle school students,\ " Morality and Rule of Law\" should give full play to its function.The ninth grade textbook Morality and Rule of Law is rich in patriotism education,which is important for strengthening students’ patriotism education.Based on student questionnaire survey,teacher interview and classroom teaching practice,this paper studies patriotism education and teaching in a middle school in Hohhot,Inner Mongolia.The survey shows that patriotism education has achieved certain results in teaching,such as teachers explaining the content of patriotism education clearly,the selection of teaching resources of patriotism education is close to students’ lives,and patriotism education and teaching enhance students’ patriotic feelings.The investigation found that patriotism education and teaching need to be further improved: First,the core literacy goals of patriotism education need to be fully implemented;Second,the teaching method of patriotism education is relatively simple;Third,students’ subjectivity in patriotism class needs to be further exerted in class.In view of the above situation,this paper puts forward specific methods to strengthen patriotism education and teaching.First,pay attention to the implementation of the core literacy goal of patriotism education,such as flexibly using classroom introduction to attract students’ attention,or making full use of various columns in patriotism teaching materials to strengthen students’ understanding of key points.The second is to enrich the teaching methods of patriotism education in the classroom.On the basis of combing the ninth grade teaching materials,situational teaching method and the combination of various teaching methods are used to enrich students’emotional experience and improve teaching effect.The third is to give full play to students’subjectivity,design gradient questions so that every student can actively participate in questions and answers,and encourage students to explore independently in class.In a word,we should give full play to function,the leading role of teachers and the main body of students,so as to enhance the effect of students’patriotic education and teaching.
