Whether it is in the "General High School Physics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020 Revision)" or in the "Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)","Scientific Attitude and Responsibility" is an important part of the core literacy of the physics discipline,which is more and more valued by the majority of front-line teachers and researchers.As the basis of physics,experiment plays an important role in promoting the cultivation of students’ scientific attitude and responsibility literacy.However,due to teaching pressure,lack of experimental equipment in some schools,limited laboratory conditions and other factors,physical experiments are not ideal.Teaching through homemade experimental teaching aids can not only make up for the shortcomings and gaps of factory experimental instruments,but also provide benefits for the cultivation of students’ scientific attitude and responsibility.Therefore,this study mainly uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case analysis method to explore how to use homemade experimental teaching aids to cultivate students’ scientific attitude and responsibility literacy,which is divided into six parts.The first part,with the literature retrieval and analysis of curriculum standards,the research status of homemade experimental teaching aids,scientific attitude and responsibility literacy have been found out.The research content and methods,and clarifies the research purpose and significance are absolutely confirmed as well.The second part,as defining the concepts of teaching aids,homemade experimental teaching aids,nature of science(view of nature of science),scientific attitude and social responsibility,the relevant theories of this paper are expounded in order to lay a foundation for later research.The third part,a questionnaire survey on 158 students in R Middle School of Weinan City was conducted and 5 front-line physics teachers were interviewed at the same time.The results of the survey and interviews were analyzed to understand the development level of middle school students’ scientific attitude and responsibility literacy,as well as teachers’ use of homemade experimental teaching aids and their understanding and implementation of scientific attitude and responsibility education,further confirming the necessity and feasibility of the research.The fourth part,after discussing the cultivation path of students ’scientific attitude and responsibility literacy,the specific strategies of using homemade experimental teaching aids are put forward to make students further understand the nature of science,promote the cultivation of scientific attitude and enhance the awareness of social responsibility.A number of experimental teaching aids such as microscope,telescope,floating and sinking of submarine,direct current motor,table tennis that cannot be washed down,aircraft lift demonstrator,Kelvin dripping-water charge collector and so on were made and applied.The fifth part,the homemade experimental teaching aids were used as the teaching practice in the two chapters of "pressure" and "buoyancy".From the feedback of student performance,classroom performance and after-school interviews,students’ scientific attitude and responsibility literacy have been improved.The sixth part,the conclusions and achievements of this study are summarized,while the shortcomings of this study are also be pointed out,as a result,the direction of further research will be exactly much clearer in the future. |
