Currently,physics teaching whose aim is to teach physical knowledge is difficult to meet the requirements of training students’ attitude and responsibility in the 2017 edition of "General High School Physics Curriculum Standards".Teachers urgently need to change their teaching mode and open up a new pathway to train students’ scientific attitude and responsibility.STSE Education is a comprehensive interdiscipline to study the interrelation of science、technology、society and the environment,which not only emphasizes scientific education in science and technology,also merges with humanistic education in social and environmental aspects,and making students not only learn scientific knowledge,also develop correct values and enhance their own scientific literacy.The STSE educational philosophy is highly consistent with the requirements of the new curriculum standards in cultivating students’ "scientific attitudes and responsibilities",the formation of the requirements for cultivating students’ scientific attitudes and responsibilities can be said to be the result of the internalization of the STSE educational philosophy in physics to a certain extent.Therefore,the teaching of physics based on the STSE education concept not only meets the training requirements of students’ "scientific attitudes and responsibilities",also opens up a new way to cultivate students’ "scientific attitudes and responsibilities".In order to better explore the application of STSE education concept in physics teaching,and exert the effect of STSE education concept in cultivating high school students’ scientific attitude and responsibility.Firstly,using the literature research method,this paper combs and defines the theoretical basis and core concepts of the research topic,and establishes the research objectives and ideas.Then,the author borrowed the content analysis method to summarize and categorize the STSE educational resources involved in the compulsory high school physics textbook into a table,and outlined the characteristics and roles of the STSE educational resources interspersed in the textbook body,textbook columns,textbook supplementary columns and textbook exercises.Respectively.In order to make the research more effective,the author also conducted interviews and questionnaires with teachers and students to analyze and organize the problems of teachers in developing students’ scientific attitudes and responsibilities through teaching physics based on STSE educational concepts.After completing the above work,the author proposed a physics teaching strategy based on STSE educational concept to cultivate high school students’ scientific attitudes and responsibilities in view of the characteristics and roles of STSE educational resources in the textbook,the problems reflected by the teacher and student surveys,and the theoretical basis of the previous paper.The whole teaching strategy is divided into two parts,namely the strategy of using STSE educational resources and the stage teaching strategy,which are as follows.The strategies for using STSE educational resources are: make good use of STSE educational resources according to the requirements of the curriculum;do not emphasize the application of resources over the teaching of physics knowledge;expand STSE educational resources to meet the requirements of the times;strengthen the application of resources in the field of life and highlight environmental education;add a variety of teaching activities to give full play to the special effects of resources;explore the humanistic spirit and seize the soul of resources.In line with the strategy of using STSE educational resources,the author also divided the whole physics teaching into three stages: pre-class preparation,classroom lecture and post-class consolidation,and proposed corresponding teaching strategies in segments.For example,in the pre-class preparation stage,teachers should be familiar with the characteristics of the resources and flexibly combine a variety of teaching methods;with the help of a variety of ways to understand students’ existing scientific attitudes and levels of responsibility.In the classroom lecture,teachers can use the following teaching strategies: creating problem situations;reforming laboratory teaching;enriching classroom teaching aids;adding classroom debate activities to cultivate students’ scientific attitudes and responsibilities.Finally,the teaching strategies in the post-class consolidation stage are: integrating science attitude and responsibility education in exercises;integrating science attitude and responsibility education in practical activities.Based on the teaching strategies proposed in the previous paper,the author designed two teaching cases,"Space Voyage" and "Electromagnetic Induction Phenomenon and Application",in combination with the teaching design process and principles in line with the STSE educational concept,in order to provide first-line physics teachers and researchers with More paths and reference materials for cultivating students’ scientific attitude and responsibility. |
