Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(2022 Edition)emphasizes "deepening teaching reform,promoting comprehensive learning,exploring comprehensive teaching activities such as large unit teaching." As a new teaching method,Chinese large unit teaching in primary school is an effective way to implement the core literacy of primary school Chinese.Carrying out large unit teaching in primary school needs to design large unit teaching.The teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit can cultivate students’ Chinese literacy,solve primary school Chinese teaching problems and improve classroom teaching.This paper discusses this problem from the macroscopic and microcosmic angle of view,supplements the theoretical research on the teaching design of large-unit Chinese in primary schools,provides a feasible design scheme for the teaching of unified edition Chinese textbooks,and also offers instructional design ideas for primary school Chinese teachers to carry out large-unit teaching.This study holds that Chinese core literacy is a comprehensive literacy in which cultural self-confidence,language application,thinking ability and aesthetic creation will be gradually formed and basic knowledge and basic skills will be mastered by students through practical activities such as listening,speaking,reading and writing in Chinese classroom.Based on core literacy and oriented by literacy goal,the instructional design of large unit applies constructivism theory,humanistic theory,systematic theory to analyse curriculum standard,textbook,structural logic,students’ psychological logic,so as to give an overall planning,systematic arrangement to large unit goal,theme,situation,task,evaluation as well as other elements and design a complete teaching and learning event.This study investigates the current situation of Chinese teaching in large units in primary schools by means of questionnaires and interviews.The survey finds that there are the following problems in the large unit teaching of Chinese in primary schools: teachers’ shortage of attention to students’ Chinese core literacy,teachers’ unclear cognition of the concept of large unit teaching,the new teaching style hindered by traditional teaching thinking,difficulties in integrating various elements of large unit teaching,lack of the design style of large units standardization.According to the problems existing in the large unit teaching of Chinese in primary schools,this study puts forward the thinking of designing the large unit teaching of Chinese in primary schools around the core literacy: Firstly,the design of large unit teaching should refine the theme of large unit teaching around teaching materials;Secondly,it should determines the objectives of large units based on Chinese core literacy;Thirdly,it should integrate and reorganize the teaching content of large units;Finally,the evaluation of large unit teaching pointing to the core literacy of Chinese will be implemented.On the basis of design ideas,this study takes the seventh unit of the first volume of the fourth grade of the unified edition as an example to design the teaching of large units: In the first place,this study interprets the design basis and grasps the whole of large unit;In the second place,the study concises large-unit themes and focuses on literacy goals;In addition,it creates large-unit situational and design-driven tasks;Finally,the evaluation of large unit teaching is carried out around the core literacy of Chinese.This study is expected to provide the first-line teachers with the core literacy-based primary school Chinese large unit teaching design ideas and case design reference. |
