Since the Outline of National Tourism and Leisure issued by The General Office of the State Council in 2013,the term“study travel” has been widely concerned by the outside world.Under the guidance of various policies,primary and secondary schools across the country have launched various types of research travel activities,taking research travel activities as the most important part of extracurricular activities,so as to cultivate students’ various off-campus skills.Research travel is a new way and method to cultivate people,so under the in-depth reform of the new curriculum,research travel is booming and has become a key topic of current researchers.“Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition,2020 revision)” put forward four core qualities of geography,among which geography practical force emphasizes the enhancement of will quality and action ability in real situations.Since the promulgation and implementation of“ Curriculum Standards for Research Travel ”,geography teachers are encouraged to attach importance to the development and implementation of research travel courses and promote the improvement of students core quality of geography.This paper takes Hulunbuir City as an example,selects 10 papers with strong relevance to this paper from literature related to the design and implementation of research travel activities,uses case analysis to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the design and implementation of research travel activities,and draws inspiration,which provides guidance and suggestions for the design of research travel activities in this paper.Through field investigation and action research,the curriculum resources for high school geography research trips are selected,and the research topics and topics are determined.Design 6 research travel cases according to the process of thematic research travel case design.This paper explores the approaches and methods for the development of research travel course resources,puts forward the strategy of case design of research travel based on special topics,and enrichis the research travel course resources in Hulunbuir for the reference and use of front-line teachers.The following conclusions are obtained through the research:First,through the research and analysis of Hulunbuir Statistical Yearbook and other relevant literature combined with field investigation,a total of 6categories and 75 courses suitable for high school geography research travel resources were selected,and research themes and topics were designed.Second,through the study of “ Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary high School(2017 edition,2020 revision)” and “ Curriculum Standards for Research Travel ”,combined with the analysis of local geography curriculum resources and specific cases in Hulunbuir City,this paper designs 6 thematic high school geography research travel cases.They are vegetation,river,city,ethnic customs and culture,industry and volcano.Third,through the analysis of other authors ’ cases,we can draw inspiration to guide the case design and implementation in this paper.Combined with the inspiration of the case,the paper finally summarizes 5case design strategies of high school geography thematic research travel.They are:(1)Propose special topics: according to the main characteristics of regional geographical environment.(2)Set goals: closely focus on the core literacy of geography.(3)Determine the content: organic integration of local geography curriculum resources.(4)Design route: fully reflects the main ideas of geography teaching.(5)Summary evaluation: combination of process and summative evaluation.
