Research On College Student’s Cultivation Of Legal Consciousness In The New Era

Comrade Xi Jinping pointed out at the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that we should guide all the people to be loyal advocates,conscientious followers,and steadfast defenders of the socialist rule of law.Building a rule of law country requires multiple forces to work together,among which university students are one of the important forces,and the cultivation of their rule of law awareness is particularly important.In recent years,great achievements have been made in cultivating the legal awareness of college students,but there are still some problems that are not conducive to the sustainable development of the cultivation of legal awareness among college students.The cultivation of college students’ awareness of the rule of law not only helps them establish a sense of the rule of law,understand national laws and policies,and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests,but also enhances their sense of the rule of law,enabling them to comply with the law and strictly constrain their own behavior.Therefore,based on the current situation of cultivation,further research will be conducted on the existing problems and influencing factors of cultivation,starting from the specific reality of China and drawing on beneficial experiences both domestically and internationally,in order to provide specific plans for cultivating the legal awareness of college students.This article takes the cultivation of legal awareness among college students in the new era as the theme,starts with theoretical research,defines the concepts related to this study,and establishes the relevant theories of this study and the era value of the research.Through a questionnaire survey,the current situation of cultivation was analyzed,and it was learned that in the new era,college students attach great importance to the cultivation of legal awareness,generally have legal knowledge reserves,are able to consciously abide by the law,and have a strong sense of rights protection.However,there are still problems where college students prioritize theory over practice in cultivating their own legal awareness,insufficient efforts are made to cultivate legal awareness in universities,limitations exist in cultivating family legal awareness,and the environment for cultivating college students’ legal awareness is complex.But the factors that affect cultivation are multifaceted,attributed to the influence of college students themselves,university education and management,family education,and social environment.Therefore,based on the above investigation,this article believes that it is necessary to strengthen the education of self rule of law awareness among college students in the new era,guided by Xi Jinping’s thought on the rule of law,play the main role of cultivating university rule of law awareness,play the role of family education in cultivating rule of law awareness,and create a good social legal environment.We should work together from these four aspects to enhance college students’ rule of law awareness.In short,this study can not only enhance college students’ awareness of the rule of law and enhance their awareness of the rule of law,but also promote and practice the core socialist values and implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent.Therefore,it is of great significance to actively explore and conduct in-depth research on the strategies for cultivating the rule of law awareness among college students in the new era.
