A Social Work Practice Study On Community Integration Of The Elderly In Ex Situ Resettlement Sites

How to write the "second half of the article" on relocation for poverty alleviation and relocation is not only necessary to move,but also to be stable,get rich,and improve the sense of community,integration,and happiness.This is a realistic and serious issue.As the young and middle-aged groups go out to work,the elderly in the community need attention and services from all walks of life.The elderly group is an indispensable and important force to promote family happiness and social progress.Solving the problem of community integration of the elderly group is an urgent matter for many relocating families.Social work is the lubricant for the construction of a harmonious society.As a professional and professional helping service activity,social work has always been accompanied by poverty.Social work was born to solve poverty problems,improve people's lives,and enhance humanity well-being.In this study,elderly people aged 60 to 75 and in relatively good physical condition in the relocation community of Tongren City A were selected as the main research objects.The current situation of community integration of the elderly in Community A was investigated through participatory observation and interview methods,and analyzed.Social work is involved in the necessity and feasibility of community integration of the elderly in Community A.The problem of community integration of the elderly in Community A is analyzed from the three levels of individuals,families and communities.Under the guidance of social support theory,social integration theory and superior perspective theory,choose social work professional methods and service skills to intervene in the problem of community integration of the elderly in A community,and apply case work and group work to the elderly community in A community in the service process.Intervening on integration issues,through 8 casework services and 7 group activities,the elderly in community A's sense of belonging to the community has been enhanced and they have been better integrated into the relocation community.Use the method of combining process evaluation and result evaluation to evaluate the service effect of social work involved in community integration of the elderly in community A,and conduct professional reflection on the service process from many aspects.The evaluation results show that it is feasible to use case and group work to intervene in community integration services for the elderly in relocation sites for poverty alleviation and relocation.Targeted case services and mutual assistance group activities can not only stimulate the interest of the elderly in participating in community activities and enrich the elderly in the community.People's later life has enhanced the elderly's sense of belonging and identity in the community to a certain extent,and promoted the real community integration of the elderly.
