Orphaned and disabled children belong to both special and vulnerable groups.Although the basic needs of orphans and disabled children living in child welfare institutions can be guaranteed,under the centralized care of welfare institutions,orphans and disabled children participate less in economic,cultural,and social interaction,and are difficult to access the external environment,resulting in poor social integration of orphans and disabled children living in welfare institutions.Therefore,welfare institutions not only need to ensure the basic needs of orphans and disabled children,but also need to help orphans and disabled children learn correct social methods through various ways,establish good interactive relationships and stable attachment relationships,and prepare for future return to family and society.Based on the collection and collation of relevant data and situations of orphans and disabled children in G City Children’s Welfare Home,this article analyzes the social integration issues of orphans and disabled children in the welfare home.Through group work methods,this article conducts a series of group activities,using interactive games,role playing,and experiencing social life,to record and analyze the process of group activities,and helps team members establish good interactive relationships,Enhance self-confidence,improve the ability of team members to participate in social life,and better return to their families and integrate into society.Finally,evaluate the team’s work,compare the data from the pre test and post test,summarize the effectiveness of the team’s intervention in the social integration of orphans and disabled children in welfare institutions,and reflect on the shortcomings.In addition,giving play to the professional power of social work and promoting the social integration of orphans and disabled children through professional knowledge and practical skills can also provide experience for future relevant research.The research conclusion of this article is that the economic integration dilemma of orphans and disabled children in welfare institutions is mainly manifested by their lack of understanding of basic economic knowledge,their difficulty in forming correct consumption concepts,and their inability to participate independently in economic life.In terms of psychological integration,the main manifestations are poor self cognitive ability,a serious sense of inferiority complex,and a lack of security and trust in interpersonal communication.The difficulties of social integration are mainly manifested in weak social skills,poor social adaptability,and closed interpersonal communication.Through the intervention of group work and the combination of theory and practice,diversified group activities have been carried out,which has improved the social integration status of orphans and disabled children in welfare institutions to a certain extent,and increased their enthusiasm for participating in social life. |
