Practical Research On Orphaned-and-disabled Youth's Vocational Training With Social Work Method

Orphaned-and-disabled youth is a social vulnerable group.Because of their incapacity,the enclosed rearing style of children welfare institution,the companies' non-admission,the ignorance in the society,the imperfection of national policy,their employment and integration are social challenges which are not allowed to ignore.For now,their employment stature is not optimistic,especially in the fierce competition under the background of market economy.It shows that their employment rate and the employment level are lower than normal.In order to enhance their living skills,employment ability and social adaptability to raise their employment rate,the children welfare institution need bring social work in it to service them.G city welfare institution has purchased social work service from C institution,which is the first time to make social worker in welfare institution and professional social worker cooperate to service orphaned and disabled youth in our country.So taken G city welfare institution for an example is typical.The article is based on the theories of social support,social integration and empowerment,analyzing the social work service in vocational training.The article is taken qualitative research to collect the information from the welfare institution social worker,C institution social workers and orphaned-and-disabled youth.Firstly,the article introduces orphaned-and-disabled youth basic information,and takes three theories to analyze the social work service in vocational training,and explores the characteristic funcion of social workers through the service.Finally the article talks about the dilemmas in the sevice,and put forward corresponding suggestions for the service.This is a practice of the social work intervention in orphaned-and-disabled youth vocational training service research which provides a certain reference for the study.
