With the rapid development of modern science and technology,the importance of mathematical modeling in many industries has become increasingly appa rent,especially in the field of science and technology,there is an urgent need for innovative talents with the ability to solve practical problems.With the promulgation of two documents,"General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017Edition)" and "Chinese College Entrance Examination Evaluation System",it indicates that mathematical modeling is playing an increasingly important role in high school.This research clarifies the concept of mathematical modeling through the literature method,and also makes statistics on the literature research on the teaching of mathematical modeling in high school.Through the We Chat questionnaire survey and the one-on-one teacher interviews,combined with the statistical software such as Spss and Excel,we have mastered the teaching status of mathematical modeling in high schools in Meizhou.High school students in Meizhou area still have a relatively low understanding of mathematical modeling,and have few courses in mathematical modeling,but the students have expressed a high interest in the course of mathematical modeling.In the teaching method s of mathematical modeling in high school,students also prefer the teaching method of “Teacher-led and student group work exploration”.Through interviews with teachers,it is also found that the professional level of high school teachers in mathematical modeling needs to be improved,the teaching methods need to be improved,the understanding and emphasis on high school mathematical modeling is not enough,and the application of information technology is still relatively lacking,etc.At the same time,I also learned that the school has relatively few class schedules for mathematical modeling,and the investment in information technology such as teaching software and hardware is still insufficient.It needs to be strengthened in terms of continuing education and professional development of teachers.Then,based on the analysis of the mathematics test questions in the college entrance examination in the past five years and the previous investigation and research,the three-point teaching principles and four-point teaching strategies of high school mathematical modeling are summarized,and finally a mathematical modeling teaching case is written as a teaching practice and research display of the results.There are innovations in research methods,research content and research results.This thesis systematically sorts out the concepts of mathematical modeling and related teaching theories at domestic and foreign,and deepens the understanding of mathematical modeling for teachers and students.According to the data feedback from the questionnaire,the difficulties and problems existing in the current high school mathematical modeling teaching are mastered in detail,which provides a basis for the promotion of mathematical modeling teaching in the future,and is conducive to the promotion of high school mathematical modeling courses.With construction,the teaching principles,teaching strategies and teaching cases summarized in this thesis have great practical reference value for teachers to carry out mathematical modeling teaching.
