The new curriculum standard needs more and more mathematics modeling for senior high schools.It is a very important task for the whole society to cultivate the modeling ability of ordinary high school students.This paper adopts many methods,including sample survey,case analysis and so on.Under the background of the present era and the new curriculum reform,this paper makes a theoretical and practical inquiry into how to cultivate the ability of high school students in mathematical modeling,and then puts forward some strategies.The research on mathematical modeling at home and abroad shows that the ability of mathematical modeling is very important in senior high schools.Teachers and students in senior high school must understand mathematical models and mathematical modeling.There are many theories that can be used as the basis for cultivating the modeling ability of contemporary high school students,including the new curriculum standard,constructivism theory and problem-solving theory.The mathematics modeling ability of the contemporary senior high school students is not outstanding,but the society has a high demand for the modeling ability.Especially,there are more and more questions about the modeling ability in the college entrance examination,so the teachers should first understand the modeling goal,the modeling and modeling arrangement steps of the senior high school students in our country.In order to cultivate high school students' modeling ability,we should first infiltrate the idea of modeling and set good strategies,for example,in teaching,we should always carry out modeling activities in every class as well outside the classroom,and we should guide learners to model correctly.We should adopt a variety of methods to model the model,which should be based on the students' reality,stratified teaching.From easy task to difficult one and we should start from the textbook,carry out rich and abundant modeling activities,open up new modeling ideas.Through the case study of mathematical modeling in senior high schools,we can achieve the goal ofcultivating mathematics modeling ability of senior high school students.It is concluded that teachers play an important role in cultivating students' modeling ability.Only high school students have mastered the good mathematical foundation and experienced a certain life experience,with modern modeling consciousness and idea,mathematical modeling ability can be improved effectively.
