Under the background of the new college entrance examination,mathematical modeling has become more and more popular in recent years.As one of the six qualities in the Curriculum Standards for General High School(2017Edition),mathematical modeling has also become a hot topic in the college entrance examination.Besides,the new college entrance examination,the new textbook and the new starting point make higher and higher requirements for the content of mathematical modeling in high school mathematics education.Under the background of the new college entrance examination,students can not exactly get good marks by doing exercise over and over again.The new college entrance examination is more about students' mathematical accomplishment and learning ability.High school mathematics cannot just stay at low level of formulas and theorems learning,and the learning of mathematical modeling can improve students' learning ability and subject accomplishment from all aspects,so it gradually appears on the stage of high school teaching.However,there are many problems in learning of it.On the one hand,teaching of mathematical modeling is a great challenge for teachers.Most mathematics teachers are under great pressure due to unfamiliar fields,new teaching modes,and the lack of technical equipment.On the other hand,students are rarely exposed to learning mathematical modeling,let along to practicing it.Moreover,teaching equipment and teaching conditions are not complete enough,which is other obstacle to mathematical modeling teaching.And it is difficult to change the mind that "good mark is most important in college entrance examination".In addition,the teaching evaluation system of mathematical modeling is also a problem.From the practical perspective,the author analyzed the concrete cases of mathematical modeling,and found that mathematical modeling teaching in the actual teaching progress is not ideal.Teachers and students are not so familiar with mathematical modeling.There is still a lot of work to do to meet the requirement of the new curriculum standard for mathematical modeling,but as long as teachers and students work together,they are sure to break through the difficulties.Huaibei,Anhui Province is not a the developed city in education,but No.1 High School of Huaibei Anhui which the author mainly studied is the best high school in Huaibei.So the students in this school are the best as well.There are two major aspects of this paper research.In the first part,the author interviewed many front-line teachers,trying to know the problems and obstacles in mathematical modeling teaching as well as their opinions.It's found that many mathematical teachers paid little attention on mathematical modeling teaching due to the pressure of college entrance examination,while they really want to do this job in fact.In the second part,the author conducted a survey on students' cognition and doubts about mathematical modeling.It's found that only a small number of students had real contact with mathematical modeling.If students want to cultivate the accomplishment of mathematical modeling,they still need to learn it throughout.Students seldom see the word from the perspective of mathematical in daily life,which runs counter to our original purpose.The idea that "why do we learn mathematics? Counting money while buying vegetables." should be got rid of from student's mind.Mathematical learning is not about boring formulas and theorems,but an interesting lovely soul,which students can feel "loveliness" of mathematics.From the perspective of the students,the author summed up some corresponding teaching suggestions.“pay attention to "process" "activity" in mathematical modeling,learning by group activities,attach importance to formative assessment,encourage students to put forward topics by themselves,emphasize the application of information technology,highlight teachers' guiding ability.
