In order to solve the problem of picking up parents,the Ministry of Education issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and after-school Training Burden of students in Compulsory Education in 2021(hereinafter referred to as Double reduction),and schools in all provinces and cities have accelerated the implementation and enriched the forms of after-school delayed service activities.Primary school activities mainly include doing homework,sports activities,art activities,Chinese reading activities and so on.Reading is the concrete embodiment of primary school students’ comprehensive Chinese quality and ability,as well as the concrete reflection of Chinese teachers’ professional quality and resource integration ability.In order to promote the two-way development of teachers and students,primary schools all over the country actively carry out Chinese reading activities in after-school delay services.Throughout the development of Chinese reading activities around the country,the phenomenon of Chinese reading teaching replacing Chinese reading activities appears in the implementation process,which seriously affects the development effect of Chinese reading activities.Based on this,this study combined with the implementation of Chinese reading activities in primary schools in J City to design activities and ensure the effective implementation of activities.This study is divided into six parts,which are as follows: The first part collects literature about after-school delay service and primary school Chinese reading activities,understands the research results,collates and analyzes them.The second part defines the concepts of after-class delay service,Chinese reading teaching and Chinese reading activity design,determines the theoretical basis of humanistic learning theory,Taylor’s goal model and constructivism learning theory,and discusses the value of this research.The third part mainly from the activity conditions,reading content,reading methods,reading habits and other dimensions of the primary school after-school delay service to investigate the status of Chinese reading activities and causes analysis.It is found that the main problems are: the activity conditions are limited;Unable to arouse interest in reading;Reading content selection is single;Insufficient intervention of reading methods;Poor reading performance.The fourth part combined with the existing problems in the Chinese reading activities of the after-school delay service in primary schools,indicating that the design of reading activities should follow the principles of subjectivity,inspiration and systematization,so as to provide guidance for the smooth implementation of Chinese reading activities.Activity design process from determining the purpose of the activity;Select the activity method;The process of organizing activities;Start with the evaluation of activities.Then it puts forward the strategy of activity design: first,change the idea of reading activity to stimulate students’ interest in reading;Secondly,we can improve students’ reading ability by penetrating Chinese reading methods.Three,enrich the content of Chinese reading and enhance students’ situational experience;Fourth,improve the activity evaluation standard,improve the Chinese reading quality.The fifth part selects the literature works and science works with reading difficulties of current students for case analysis,finds the existing problems and corrects them,and provides reference suggestions for front-line teachers.The sixth part summarizes the research conclusions,reflects on the research deficiencies and looks forward to the research prospects.In order to provide reference for front-line teachers.
