In recent years, the incidence of adolescent scoliosis remains high, and the age of the affected groups is gradually becoming adolescent, which seriously threatens the healthy growth of adolescents.Scoliosis will not only affect teenagers’ daily life, study and sports, but also affect their physical and mental health, personality and interpersonal communication. Therefore, from the perspective of "combination of physical education and medicine",this study aims to explore the intervention effect of orthopedic training on S-type idiopathic scoliosis in adolescents aged 10-18 through orthopedic training intervention.Under the guidance of scoliosis experts, doctors and professors, this study designed a special orthopedic training movement for adolescent S-type idiopathic scoliosis, and conducted a three-month intervention study on 17 adolescent S-type idiopathic scoliosis patients aged 10-18,three times a week, each time for 60 minutes. The experimental test indicators are the special scoliosis scale SRS-22 and the whole spine X-ray,in which SRS-22 scale contains five dimensions,namely,pain,function,self-image,psychological and treatment satisfaction; The X-ray film of the whole spine contains four dimensions, namely Cobb angle, shoulder height(RSH),unequal length of both lower limbs and vital capacity(VC).The paired sample T-test method was used to compare and analyze the SRS-22 scale and the X-ray data of the whole spine before and after the experiment, and the following conclusions were drawn:Orthopedic training used in this study has a good intervention effect on Cobb angle of patients to a certain extent, which is conducive to improving the number of Cobb angles of adolescent patients with S-type idiopathic scoliosis, and can effectively delay the progress of the disease to a certain extent, thus delaying the progress of patients with scoliosis symptoms. For patients with S-type idiopathic scoliosis in this experiment, the therapeutic effect of thoracic Cobb angle is better than that of lumbar Cobb angle;(2)For the problem of shoulder height and unequal length of both lower limbs,it is analyzed that the high and low shoulders are mainly caused by the degeneration of unilateral trapezius muscle due to the habit of using one arm to exert force in daily life, such as carrying a shoulder bag. After three months of orthopedic training, the shoulder height imbalance of adolescent scoliosis patients has been effectively solved as a whole,so orthopedic training can improve the bad posture of high and low shoulders and long and short legs caused by scoliosis;(3)For patients’ lung function, orthopedic training mainly adopts static exercises combined with breathing training,so it can indirectly exercise patients’ vital capacity and improve their lung function to some extent;(4)In terms of patients’ mental health,we can improve patients’ scoliosis symptoms and let them see hope.
