| Community workers are the vanguard team of social workers active in community construction in our country,and are professionals specializing in community work.They play a variety of important roles in their daily work,such as intermediary,mediator and defender,and play a significant role for the stability of the grassroots society.With the continuous development of community construction,community workers,as the dominant role undertaking community work,are faced with a variety of problems,such as heavy work tasks,unknown professional identity,low professional identity,poor working conditions and pay,which make this group more prone to depression and other negative emotions.Paying attention to the mental health of community workers is of great significance to promoting community harmony and maintaining social stability.On the basis of previous research on community worker burnout,this paper selects s District of L subdistrict office as the research object,conducts intervention based on group psychotherapy mode,and conducts investigation and research through literature research,questionnaire survey,semi-structured interview and scale measurement,supported by group dynamics,social learning theory and Maslow’s needs theory.Based on the Job Burnout Scale(MBI),six community workers with high job burnout were selected to carry out group work intervention.This service carried out 6 group activities to reduce job burnout.The research finds that the causes of burnout of community workers in L subdistrict mainly come from three aspects:individual,organization and society.In the aspect of individual,they are as follows:lack of personal professional ability;Difficult balance between family and work;Facing pressure difficulties without countermeasures;At the organizational level:heavy workload;Interpersonal tension;At the social level: low social recognition;Low pay;Narrow promotion channel and so on are the important cause of job burnout.On this basis,the research from the individual,family,society and other aspects of community worker burnout and other suggestions and countermeasures.The innovation of this paper lies in the use of group psychotherapy in the intervention process,focusing on the problem of job burnout of community workers,improving and updating the previous professional research,starting from the spiritual and psychological needs,providing a new perspective to solve the job burnout.However,it is also difficult for group psychotherapy to meet the individualization of different individuals.Since there are multiple members in a group,social workers need to consider the different needs and problems of each patient,which leads to the insufficiency of treatment focusing on a single member. |
