Ideological work is an extremely important work of the Party,and school ideology classes are an important position for carrying out ideological work in China.Therefore,to co-ordinate and promote the ideology class to keep the righteousness and innovation is to occupy the main position of ideological education.At a symposium for teachers of ideological and political theory courses in schools in March 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed,"We should make it an important project to co-ordinate and promote the integration of ideology courses across primary,secondary and tertiary levels." Since then,theoretical and practical research on the integration of thought and political science courses across primary,secondary and tertiary levels has been in full swing across the country.The ultimate purpose of theoretical research is to guide practice.Therefore,on the basis of macro theoretical research on the integration of Civics and Politics classes across primary,secondary and tertiary levels,it is of great practical significance to conduct micro practical research on the current situation of Civics and Politics classes offered in Xinjiang.Based on the realistic research results of the theoretical studies that have been achieved so far,this topic provides an in-depth analysis of the problems that exist in the process of offering Civic and Political Science classes in Xinjiang across primary,secondary and tertiary levels,and finally focuses on the practical countermeasures for the integrated construction of Civic and Political Science classes across primary,secondary and tertiary levels in Xinjiang.The full paper consists of five parts,as follows:The first part is the introduction.It mainly describes the background and significance of the research on the integrated construction of the Civic Science course across primary,secondary and tertiary levels,the current situation of the research at home and abroad,the research ideas and methods as well as the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.The second part is an overview of the integrated construction of university,high school and primary school courses,including a definition of the concept of integrated university,high school and primary school courses,an explanation of the main principles to be followed in the integrated construction of university,high school and primary school courses,such as the unity of objectives and politics,and an analysis of the significance of the integrated construction of university,high school and primary school in implementing the fundamental task of educating people with moral values and building a system of Chinese characteristics.The third part is the logical approach to the integration of the construction of ideology and political science courses across primary,secondary and tertiary levels,from the perspective of historical logic,the historical evolution of the construction of ideology and political science courses in schools and universities from the founding of New China to the new era.From a theoretical logical perspective,the theoretical foundations of Marxism and theories related to ideological and political education are sorted out.From a practical logical perspective,we will also examine the practical basis for the need to cultivate talents for the new era who are capable of national rejuvenation.The fourth part is the current situation of the integrated construction of Civics and Political Science courses across primary,secondary and tertiary levels in Xinjiang.This section introduces the design and implementation of this study,analyses the results of the current integrated construction of Xinjiang’s primary,secondary and tertiary levels’ Civics and Politics courses,including the continuous optimisation of course objectives,the improvement of course content and the gradual upgrading of teachers,and analyses the problems that still exist in the integrated construction of Xinjiang’s primary,secondary and tertiary levels’ Civics and Politics courses,such as the lack of impetus for integrated top-level design,and analyses the subjective and objective causes.The fifth part is a summary of the paths and countermeasures for the integrated construction of Xinjiang’s primary,secondary and tertiary levels thinking and politics courses.On the basis of the previous analysis of the current problems of the integrated construction of Xinjiang’s primary,secondary and tertiary levels thinking and politics courses,the construction paths and countermeasures are proposed in a targeted manner,namely,strengthening the integrated top-level design,integrated teacher team construction,integrated curriculum system construction,integrated assessment mechanism,and integrated nurturing environment.
