Abstract/Summary:
China is a vast and diverse country with distinct regional characteristics and a rich cultural heritage.As an important component of traditional Chinese music,regional music highlights the unique musical styles of different regions with personalized features.Regional music,as a product of cultural progress,reflects the real life of people and the historical background and cultural characteristics of the region.However,with the development of society,these outstanding traditional cultures are being impacted by Western and modern emerging cultures.For example,the popularity of Western musical instruments continues to rise,and various popular network songs flood the market,affecting the mainstream status of traditional music culture in China.Therefore,it is urgent to enhance the learning of regional music.Introducing regional music appreciation courses in high school not only meets the specific requirements of the curriculum standards but also expands the teaching resources of music courses,which helps strengthen the school’s educational characteristics.By using regional music learning as a bond,students’ sense of national cultural identity can be deepened,and their cultural confidence can be cultivated.The main content of this article includes four parts.In chapter one,the concept of regional music,regional music education,and high school music appreciation is clarified and their connections are discussed.The necessity of learning regional music is then pointed out,including enriching teaching contents,enhancing students’ cultural understanding abilities and promoting local cultural inheritance.Chapter two uses the Kaili No.1 Middle School as a research object,and through field visits,questionnaires,and interviews,investigates the current situation of regional music teaching in high school music appreciation courses.This includes student learning attitudes,teacher teaching level,and school teaching resources,summarizing the deficiencies and suggestions for regional music teaching.Chapter three focuses on the teaching design of the Miao folk song "Singing the Beautiful Hometown," combined with questionnaire surveys and interviews,to explore effective strategies for regional music teaching in high school music appreciation courses,and summarize and reflect on the teaching results.Chapter four elaborates on the characteristics and advantages of regional music in high school music appreciation courses,as well as practical strategies for teaching.By studying the teaching practices of regional music in high school music appreciation courses,this article first clarifies that regional music is an indispensable part of music appreciation courses,reflecting the uniqueness and diversity of traditional Chinese culture.Secondly,referring to the problems found in the questionnaire surveys and interviews,specific teaching methods and strategies are proposed with practical teaching cases.By listening to songs to perceive the characteristics of regional music,interpreting scores to understand local culture,using new media and experiential teaching methods to attract students’ interest,and promoting the inheritance and development of regional music.Finally,the teaching characteristics and practical strategies of regional music in high school music appreciation courses are summarized,effectively improving the teaching effect of regional music in high school music appreciation courses.
