A Practical Study On The Intervention Of Social Work In The Construction Of Rural Elderly Friendly Communities

In recent years,the aging population in China has been continuously deepening.Due to population migration,economic development,and individual needs,the proportion of population in rural areas,especially the proportion of resident population,has undergone significant changes,making the aging population in rural areas even more severe.With the emphasis on national policies,social development and other factors,the construction of elderly friendly communities has also been continuously noticed by all parties.Creating a rural elderly friendly social environment also allows rural elderly groups to enjoy the dividends of social development,allowing them to have fun and income in their old age.This study will focus on the construction of rural elderly friendly communities,emphasizing the improvement of the quality of living environment that social development can bring to the rural elderly population.This study mainly focuses on a village in an ethnic minority area of Sichuan Province.Combining two social work interventions and using the perspective of system theory,it analyzes the problems in the construction process of rural elderly friendly communities and seeks solutions.Through the interaction within the community system and subsystems,it promotes the community to achieve a friendly interactive state.In the specific practical process,the framework of regional development model is used to intervene in community affairs,and social work professional intervention methods such as memorial therapy are used to focus on the rural elderly population.Finally,based on practical summary,it is reflected that the path suitable for building elderly friendly communities in rural areas has the following characteristics: firstly,social work intervention in the community is regarded as a whole system,and environmental friendliness is achieved through changing the subsystems themselves and their interactions within the system.Second,the specific practice path is mainly "important collective interest events in rural areas→ cultural excavation and integration → Community Governance platform → core development groups → rural friendly communities".
