Research On The Transformation Of Historical Communities By Involving Community Wor

The renovation of old urban communities is a major project related to economic and social development and people’s livelihood construction.In recent years,in order to meet the needs of the people for a better life,the renovation of old communities has become an important issue for the sustainable development of China’s cities.Historical and cultural neighborhoods carry the past and present of urban cultural life and are the epitome and reflection of urban cultural development.Historical and cultural districts cover large and small historical communities,among which the renovation and development of historical communities become an important part of urban renewal and development.However,the transformation of historical communities is currently bottle necked,both in the ongoing transformation and how to develop after the transformation there are many difficulties and shortcomings,such as in the overall transformation of the historical and cultural district at the same time to take into account the historical and cultural preservation of the neighborhood and the real development needs of the community,how to participate in the transformation and solve the community transformation and development,how to achieve the integration of the old and new,seize the opportunity to develop,promote the development of historical communities,and so on.Realizing the real meaning of historical community renovation and other issues are yet to be solved.Therefore,this study will take community social work as the entry point and the historical Chikan Old Street as the research example,using field research methods such as observation,inquiry,survey,in-depth interview,and field research on Chikan old street.Among them,questionnaires as well as interviews were conducted with members of the old street(including the old street community,residents,store owners,self-organized groups,volunteers,etc.),and the interview and questionnaire data were collected and organized,from which the problems existing in the process of renovation and development of Chikan old street,the new needs of the real development of the old street and the development after renovation were analyzed.From these data,we analyzed the intervention paths of combining the community work model and the asset-based model,designed service activities according to the strategy of combining the intervention models,carried out intervention services and analyzed the intervention effects.It is obtained that the participation awareness and the behavior of the residents can be effectively enhanced through the intervention of the community work model combination,realize the effective excavation and integration of old street resources,promote the harmony of old street neighborhoods,improve the level of community services.In addition,we reflect on the service process and provide a new intervention perspective for the renovation and development of historic districts and their historic communities.
