Large-unit teaching is a new teaching mode that effectively deepens the reform of ethics and rule of law teaching in junior high schools.Under the background of the current educational reform,many experts,scholars and front-line teachers have taken advantage of the hot iron to conduct theoretical and practical research on large-unit teaching."Big Unit" has become more and more recognized by more and more people after the promulgation of the new Curriculum Standards.The new Curriculum Standard clarifies that the teaching of all subjects should be oriented to improve students’ core literacy in the subject,focusing on the development of new teaching modes of large units,while the teaching of ethics and rule of law in junior high schools must practice the new Curriculum Standards,and continuously deepen the teaching and design of large units from the height of the new era,so that students can shift from shallow learning to deep learning to meet the training requirements of core literacy.However,in the process of collecting relevant literature and teaching examples,there is relatively little research on the teaching of large units of ethics and rule of law courses in junior high schools,so there are fewer learning research materials that can be used for reference.Many front-line teachers do not have a clear understanding of large-unit teaching,have less relevant practical experience,and are still exploring and exploring step by step.Based on this,the author investigates and studies the application of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses,identifies practical problems,conducts attribution analysis,and puts forward application principles and paths.Apart from the introduction and conclusion,the text includes four chapters.The first chapter is an overview of large-unit teaching,which mainly discusses the definition of the core concepts of large-unit teaching,the characteristics of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses,the theoretical basis and practical basis of application,and expounds the importance of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses.The second chapter is the investigation and analysis of the application of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses,and some schools in Guangdong are selected as survey points,respectively questionnaires and interviews to understand the current situation and effectiveness of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses,and on this basis,the problems are analyzed and attribution analysis is carried out,so as to provide a necessary basis for promoting the better application of large-unit teaching to junior high school ethics and rule of law courses.The third chapter is based on the teacher’s perspective on the application path of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses,and puts forward practical suggestions for the development of large-unit teaching from three application principles and five application paths.The application path is mainly discussed in detail from five aspects: teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching activities,teacher professional growth,and teaching evaluation,which provides valuable suggestions for the innovation and transformation of ethics and rule of law courses in junior high schools.Chapter 4 is the research on the combination of theory and teaching practice,combined with the fourth unit of Eight Articles on Ethics and Rule of Law "Safeguarding National Interests" to carry out specific teaching practice,with "condensing the power of youth and writing the responsibility of the times" as the core theme to design large-unit teaching examples,and carry out the reflection and analysis of lesson examples,so as to accumulate relevant teaching experience and improve the application effectiveness of large-unit teaching in junior high school ethics and rule of law courses.
