The 2022 New Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education clearly identifies the concept of the rule of law as the core literacy of a theme in ethics and rule of law lessons in high school.As the main venue for training on the rule of law,junior high school ethics and rule of law classes are the main way for junior high school students to systematically learn legal knowledge and initially cultivate their legal abilities,and have the unique value of rule of law education that cannot be achieved by other subjects.The use of the case teaching method in the rule of law education section of junior high school morality and rule of law class aim to better meet the requirements of the new curricula in terms of basic academic skills,better implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on education reform and civics and political science education,and comprehensively improve the legal knowledge of secondary school students.Many scholars have discussed the case study method is based on the specific topics of morality and the rule of law in secondary school,but few scholars have studied the effective application of the "case teaching method" from the perspective of the rule of law education block.It is worthwhile for scholars to pay attention to and discuss how to effectively deal with the problems of the case teaching method in the rule of law education section of junior high school morality and rule of law class,and make efforts to enhance the effectiveness of its application.The main part of this paper is divided into five chapters from the perspective of the application of case teaching method in the rule of law education block of morality and rule of law class in junior high school.The first chapter defines the relevant concepts of case teaching method and analyzes the theoretical basis of case teaching method in junior high school morality and rule of law class;the second chapter is about the significance of using case teaching method in the rule of law education board of junior high school morality and rule of law class;the third chapter,based on students’ questionnaires and teachers’ interviews,investigates and analyses the problems of the case teaching method in the rule of law education section of junior high school morality and rule of law class from the perspective of practical application.Chapter 4 proposes feasible strategies for the use of case studies in teaching the rule of law as part of moral education in secondary schools.and rule of law class from the perspective of problem solving;chapter 5 takes the enhancement of junior high school students’ awareness of the rule of law and core literacy as the basis,and selects the second unit of "Making good use of the law" in the first book of Grade 8 for the design of a lesson case to enhance the practical significance of the thesis.
