In the long history of Chinese culture,poetry is the essence and soul of our traditional culture.Not only does it carry the thoughts and feelings of generations of people with lofty ideals for thousands of years,but it also records the essence of traditional Chinese culture and customs and the changes in social outlook in the long river of history.From this point of view,improving students’ ability to read ancient poems is the basis and core for students to understand and inherit excellent traditional culture.However,due to the simplicity and deep meaning of the poems,reading and understanding them has always been difficult for high school students.Therefore,it is essential to discover valuable teaching methods to help students understand ancient poetry.Based on this point,the author of this article proposes the teaching method of emotional understanding,hoping to enable students to learn to read ancient poems and promote the comprehensive development of students’ core Chinese literacy.The thesis is divided into five chapters: the main framework and content are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.The first section mainly expounds on the reason and significance of the topic selection of this article;that is,with the change in classroom teaching objectives,students’ aesthetic appreciation and creativity are further emphasized.Coupled with the further increase in the importance of cultural inheritance in Chinese subjects,leading students to read and appreciate ancient poetry and experience rich emotions has become one of the critical tasks of Chinese teaching.This research aims to improve students’ comprehension ability,overcome the difficulties of the college entrance examination,and enhance cultural self-confidence by designing practical and effective teaching methods for ancient poetry.The second section mainly talks about the research status of ancient poetry emotion understanding teaching.The author extracts three elements of the teaching method and analyzes them,including ancient poetry appreciation,image analysis,and emotion teaching.The third section introduces the important points and difficult points of the research.The fourth section presents the primary research methodology of this study.The second chapter mainly analyzes the current situation of ancient poetry teaching and learning and the problem of textbook examination questions through interviews,questionnaires,and SPSS.The first section is the result of investigating the current situation of study of the ancient poetry among high school students.The author designs a questionnaire and conducts data analysis through SPSS in the second section.The third section mainly investigates the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry among senior high school teachers by using the interview questions designed by the authors.In the fourth section,there is a summary of the interview results and the status of teaching ancient Chinese poetry in high school.The fifth section mainly analyzes ancient the inclusion of Chinese poetry in textbooks and examination questions in senior high school.The third chapter mainly analyzes the concept,characteristics,and core of teaching for emotional understanding teaching in ancient poetry from a theoretical point of view.The teaching method of emotional understanding should grasp the teaching characteristics of "image as the basis and experience as the guide";Teachers should pay attention to accurately capture the attributes of imagery in teaching and lead students to expand their imagination and enter the poetic realm.In the fourth chapter,a specific analysis of the methods and strategies of the emotional understanding teaching method for ancient poetry was conducted.It includes three steps: grasping the characteristics of images;sorting out the emotional categories of ancient poems;entering the poetic realm to understand emotions.The fifth chapter is to carry out the specific examples of teaching design and intention analysis of the ancient poetry emotion understanding teaching method,from the practical point of view.Through the teaching design and intention analysis of the text teaching and the college entrance exam review class,it is expected to provide new strategies,ideas,and examples for teaching ancient Chinese poetry under the core literacy requirements of the subject.
