| People can’t survive without labor.At present,labor literacy is highly valued by the state.It is not only the main goal of the implementation of school labor education,but also the actual need of students’ self-development.However,in the implementation,the cultivation of labor literacy is often diluted or even ignored,unable to achieve the expected goal,and students can not develop in an all-round way.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the current situation and shortcomings of primary school students’ labor literacy training and put forward suggestions for improvement.Firstly,by reading relevant literature and theories on labor literacy,reading the "Labor Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)",the concept and structure of primary school students’ labor literacy are determined,and a survey q uestionnaire on the current status of primary school students’ labor literacy is compile d;Secondly,a self-designed questionnaire titled ’Primary School Student Labor Litera cy Survey Questionnaire’ was used to conduct a survey on the current status of labor li teracy among 474 students in grades 4-6 from G Primary School in Huangshi City,Hu bei Province;Then conduct interviews with 12 students and 7 teachers in the selected class to understand the current situation of primary school students’ labor literacy and school labor education,and analyze and discuss the shortcomings and causes of the cu rrent situation of primary school students’ labor literacy;Finally,suggestions are prop osed to cultivate students’ labor literacy from the perspective of school education.Research has found that over 20% of students need to improve their labor literac y level,with good labor concepts but poor labor abilities.The first reason is that family labor education plays a major role in cultivating students’ labor literacy,but parents’ labor education concept is biased and it is difficult to guarantee students’ labor opportunities;The second is that school labor education has not fully played its role.Although school teachers attach importance to labor education in concept,there are still problems such as inadequate implementation of training students’ labor literacy by teachers,insufficient teachers and practice sites for labor curriculum implementation,single practice form of labor education,and imperfect labor evaluation mechanism.In response to the problems encountered in school labor education,suggestions are proposed for the cultivation of students’ labor literacy from the perspective of school education: schools need to strengthen education on students’ labor concepts,teachers should implement labor education,and guide parents to change their labor education concepts;Schools need to provide students with opportunities for labor practice,by adding labor practice venues on campus and developing labor practice venues off campus;Schools need to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ labor quality,and teachers should further guide students to establish a sense of labor norms and cultivate their labor quality by setting an example;Schools should establish a mechanism for evaluating labor literacy,combining self-evaluation with other evaluations,and combining process evaluation with summative evaluation;Schools need to strengthen the construction of labor education teachers,supplement labor education teachers,and strengthen teacher training. |
